According to one estimate, since 2012 the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm. DHS also reportedly purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAPs) to go with their bullet stockpile.
ATK is one company that won a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in 2012.
TSA, an agency within the DHS, purchased 3.5 million rounds of .357 SIG caliber training ammunition in September.
Recently TSA purchased 1,386 pounds of dynamite to go with their ammo. The Activist Post reported:
Put this in the What in the hell are they thinking? category, but the Department of Homeland Securitys (DHS) protectors of the friendly skies, the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) has submitted another request for high explosives via the Federal Business Online website today, and has issued a Limited Source Justification for three businesses to provide the material: Hallowell Manufacturing LLC, Omni Explosives Inc, and Tripwire Operations Group.

Yeh a war with the real terrorists, the American people.
“Unless Im mistaken, I dont work in the industry and dont handle things likely to turn me into pink mist, but Im under the impression that most construction work done in modern America doesnt use the old style dynamite products, and only really uses them as boosters to get cheaper and more stable earth-moving and rock shattering explosives to reliably detonate. If I saw a private construction company purchasing that Id read it as likely 2,000 booster charges for a hell of a lot more than 1,300 pounds of actual explosives.”
Mr. GG2 who is in mining just told me this almost word for word a couple of minutes ago. He said its enough for 2,000 boost charges. What in the holy heckoly would DHS need this for? I am struggling to even think of something.
Perhaps (”Nah, they wouldn’t do that”) -
1) Running it to Mexican gangs, Syrian (i.e. AQ) “rebels,” or someone in the Ukraine.
2) Preparing to plant it on the property of suspected “domestic terrorists” like us.
3) Sharing it with FEMA for the final solution once we’re all safely in the detention centers.
Yes, it is...nor has any other Republican or Democrat politician or elected official raised the question to my knowledge.
And rest assured, the controlled media, which should have been all over these purchases asking questions, will remain in its liberal coma lest it reflect on their master Obama in some way.
Let's see if Rush, Sean, Mark, Meagan, Greta, O'R, etc. bring up the subject tomorrow. However, I'm not holding my breath. Hours tomorrow will be devoted to plane-disappearance reportage, but not one second to asking why the TSA is stockpiling dynamite.
Leni
Well how else are you going to open luggage that doesn’t have a TSA approved lock?
this is just getting nutters
Oooh! Oooh! Mr. Kotter! Mr. Kotter! I know this one!
They actually had control of both houses of Congress and the White House! Instead of reducing the size of government, they increased it and spent the government's money like drunken sailors! It's the same bunch that got let in to the CPAC convention and let loose this whopper!
And they want us to trust them again??! What's that they say about "Fool me once?"
Oh yeah, love their argument: "You'd better vote for us! The other guy's worse!" So vote for them so we can go off the cliff at 75 MPH instead of 100...
Not enough dynamite, Butch.
We got a winner. They’re preparing to destroy us with explosives purchased with our money. Bunker ID needed.
Evidently...........
He got his deserved thrashing but the “Acts” have been changed as have the players.
And while they all run into their D.u.m.b.s, they realize not that God is going to drop the earth upon them with His Wrath...turning them into t.o.m.b.s
They will never come out of those caves. There is no where one can hide from God. Especially God’s enemies.
PRAISE TO YOU LORD JESUS!!!
