Vladimir Putin has mocked diplomatic efforts to end the Ukraine crisis as Russia threatened to disrupt European gas supplies by cutting off sales to Kiev over its unpaid debts.
The Russian president said through his official spokesman that, despite deep disagreements with the West, he did not want a confrontation over Ukraine to spiral into a “new cold war”.
Nevertheless Dmitry Peskov ridiculed Western demands for direct talks between the Kremlin and the new Kiev government, claiming that the loss of credibility involved “puts a smile on our face”.
The remarks were broadcast during the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, where the Ukrainian athlete carrying her national flag was given a loud cheer.

Well the neo-nazi’s have installed oligarks with their own thug military into Governing positions in the cities....in order to prevent them from wanting to hold their own votes to ceceed to Russia.
What we aren’t seeing is the thugs threatening the citizens from even attempting any revolt in the Eastern Ukraine. Nasty stuff happening in those cities.
I wouldn’t blame Russia if they did “shoot” these thugs....if or not he’ll go that far remains to be seen...but people need to wake up and see what’s happening in Ukraine is not what our news agencies are reporting.
He could also cut of our access to the International Space Station.

Of course, he respected Bush - he didn’t play paper tiger. Most Republican presidents don’t. The enemies of this country always want us to have Deomoncrat presidents because they know they are wimps when it comes to foreign policy and strength.

I don't think that's possible. If both Bushs's and obama disarmed Ukraine, how could they arm them now? When disarming Ukraine, they promised that USA would protect her.

Do you have any idea about the complexity of moving gas from the fields to the pipelines and ultimately to customers? I don’t think you do. In fact, I think you read too many comicbooks.
I occasionally do independent contract work for Israeli companies, and I can tell you that wealthy Russian, European and Israeli Jews are working together to bring gas to the European market. Both Netanyahu and Putin have been involved in long and complex negotiations to make it happen.
Incidentally, the Russians are working on pipelines to bypass Ukraine.
Wonder how long it will take to turn off the USA access to the “international” space station.

OK, I’m not sure if your post needs a sarcasm tag, or if you believe I’m really that dumb. If the latter, I’ll explain: “Berlin Airlift II” simply was a metaphor for the act helping allies whose daily necessities are being choked off by a hostile power.
In the original Berlin Airlift, it was done with aircraft, but as a principle it could be done by plane, trains, automobiles, space shuttles, or ocean-going tankers, depending on geography and/or the physical nature of the goods being shipped.
