OK, I’m not sure if your post needs a sarcasm tag, or if you believe I’m really that dumb. If the latter, I’ll explain: “Berlin Airlift II” simply was a metaphor for the act helping allies whose daily necessities are being choked off by a hostile power.
In the original Berlin Airlift, it was done with aircraft, but as a principle it could be done by plane, trains, automobiles, space shuttles, or ocean-going tankers, depending on geography and/or the physical nature of the goods being shipped.
