That will simply encourage him to entrench himself in his current role as a Rino and the morons in AZ will likely continue to return him to the Senate as long as he decides he wants to be there.

Key question: Are the voters in AZ dumb enough to reelect Juan McPain to the Senate again should he decide to run for U.S. Senator again?

I knew his father, Adm. McCain, and John is not anything close to his father in character or common sense.
Just low hanging fruit that fell on its head when it dropped off the family tree.

That would make him less popular than Harry Reid, which I didn’t think was possible.
If I were in that situation, I’d consider suicide the easy option.

As with Obama and other Constitution-ignoring Democrats and RINOs including McCain, it is possible that the polls are now being a little more honest about their popularity, or lack thereof.

That must really hurt old Judas to be dissed by his good friends in the Democrat Party like that.

Among members of his own party, McCain is at 35 percent approval to 55 percent disapproval; the comparable figures among Democrats are 29 percent to 53 percent, and among independents, 25 percent to 55 percent. This makes perfect sense.
Mister McCain has frequently snubbed his own party in order (one suspects) to curry favor w the NYT, and etc. However, nobody likes a (political) turncoat, and lookie what happens to opinion.
The (sorta) tragic irony is that likely every GOPer and indy would now have a higher opinion of McCain if he had only chosen to be true to conservative (aka American) principles. (He might have even become president.)

Easy call. Dems hate all GOP politicians and almost all non-dems hate McCain. Doesn’t leave too many who like Mr. Maverick Acrosstheaisle.

McCain, yet another act that doesn’t know when it’s time to GET OFF the STAGE.
