Ukraine: Russia Delivers ‘Assault Storm’ Deadline

I believe the Germans used the word “Blitzkrieg” for lightning war.

So, it’s late August of 1939 and the the Ukraine is the new Poland.

Apparently...

It would be very foolish for the Russians to start shooting. The population of the Crimea supports them and time is on their side. The West is powerless to intervene despite the paranoid fantasies of Russian military commanders.

It comes as Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev discussed the situation in Ukraine with US Vice President Joe Biden by telephone on Monday.

From high oil prices to fund the Russian military, to regulations to cripple our economy, to crushing military readiness, Democrats have never failed to prop up America's enemies.

BBC:

15:15:BREAKING NEWS Russia's Black Sea Fleet has given Ukrainian forces in Crimea until 5:00 local time (03:00 GMT) on Tuesday to surrender or face an all-out assault, according to Ukrainian defence ministry sources quoted by Interfax-Ukraine news agency. "If by 5am tomorrow morning they do not surrender a real assault will begin on units and sections of the Ukrainian armed forces all over Crimea," defence ministry officials are quoted as saying. So far there is no further confirmation of the ultimatum from other sources.

The absolute stupidity of man on full display. The military buildups of the early 20th century, triggered by Archduke Ferdinand’s assassination, led to “The War To End All Wars”. It didn’t.

Not content with one folly, Germany and Japan and Italy violated the Versailles Treaty with impunity and the Western World cowered before madmen. This time we’d get it right because of all the terrible new weapons. We didn’t.

The traitors in government turned to unwinnable wars - Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan - to bleed us dry and reduce our military strength.

So now we come to defend Ukraine and Israel. And we will make the same mistakes. And there will much bloodshed.

Until the next time.

It’s a good thing the Russians have a fresh coat of paint on their ships ,otherwise they would fall apart

No worries. John Kerry is on his way over there, and as we all know, he’s a highly-decorated military genius.

Please help me sort this out

What does George Soros want as the outcome?
He has been trying to buy the Ukraine for over 20 years
So now, what is Soros’ preferred outcome here?
Russian occupation of an autonomous Crimean republic? Russian control over a nominally separate Ukrainian state?
A divided Ukraine all of which owes its existence to dancing to Putins music?
Another nasty guerrilla war against Russian occupation run by our CIA (hello 1970’s “Cold War” proxies foreign policy, you’re back but with a less competent administration than Carter)

I tend to think what Soros wants will drive obama’s “policy”

When you are winning, you keep pushing. You only stop when you outrun your support. Crimea would be a great support base for any further Russian expansion.
