The lack of interest...of actually putting one’s life at risk is too much for most. We will succumb to tyranny screeching like old women, but doing nothing. We will let those few who have the courage to stand, stand alone.

Our lives are just so very precious to us...

THE WESTMINSTER MASSACRE

1775 March 12 About 40 good true men of Rockingham marched in a body to Chester to endeavor to dissuade Judge Chandler from holding court in Westminster the following Tuesday

P545 “1775 March 13 From sixty five to one hundred Rockingham citizens marched to Westminster and took part in the Westminster massacre”

From Wikipedia:” OLD BENNINGTON, VERMONT
The Westminster Massacre polarized Vermonters and helped to fill the ranks of the Green Mountain Boys for the defense of Vermont. Two months after the massacre, they would agree that the British posed a bigger threat and marched to Fort Ticonderoga for the defense of Boston.

THE MASSACRE AT WESTMINSTER, VERMONT
On the northerly end of the lower street, on the brow of the terrace overlooking the upper street, occurred the first organized resistance to the oppression of King George’s tyrannical courts, and here was shed the first blood of the Revolution, March 13, 1775. The story has often been told, how a few determined men met there and took possession of the courthouse to prevent the session of next day’s court, and the officers of the court attacked them, and that one man was killed and another fatally injured. The attempt of the sturdy citizens was successful, for the session of court was not held, nor was it ever held again in this county under the rule of the king.

WINDHAM COUNTY 1884, HAMILTON CHILD
Here the old church still stands, built in 1770, which in its early days housed a generation of worshipers who bore a prominent part in the struggle of the State and Nation for independent. Near the northern end of the street lies the old burying-ground which entombs the bones of the fathers, and among them those of the young and ardent patriot, William French, to whom history accords a place as the first martyr of the Revolution. A few rods distant from the cemetery, almost at the brow of a gentle hill, is the site of the old court-house (see page 33) where French was shot, in 1775..

Attend the rally sponsored by CT Citizen’s Defense League.

https://www.facebook.com/events/393493400796351/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular

Donate to CCDL; they’re currently involved in a federal suit against the state of CT.

http://www.ccdl.us

These are incredible people who are the absolute tip of the spear in the fight against the fascists in CT, and they deserve every last bit of support we can muster. They’re looking to get 100,000 people there. I am organizing a group from ME.

There is no way that this confiscation can work. Residents with their guns will not go down without a fight. The government agents surrounding a targeted house will will soon find themselves surrounded and in the cross fire by neighbors who will cut them down. The neighbors will do so because if they do not act, they know they will be next. Therefore, the lesson is band together or fall individually. That is the lesson for all future skirmishes with heavy handed government tyrants. Oh, they would have loved to have confiscated our guns by now, but thank God they failed.

“Keep in mind that this legislation has not yet made it to the U.S. Supreme Court, so Connecticut state officials intend to confiscate guns through the use of force and without a judiciary review of the Constitutionality of the laws they passed.

There will be those in Connecticut who surrender their firearms. But a growing sentiment across the United States suggests that there will be those who will simply refuse to submit to the will of the state.

If Connecticut goes through with this and sends heavily armed police personnel to the doors of Constitutional Law-abiding citizens it is not out of the question to suggest that we will see bloodshed and violence when these gun confiscations begin.”

The politicians who passed this unconstitutional law have become enemies of the people of CT. An unconstitutional law is invalid. Anyone who seeks to enforce an unconstitutional law is an outlaw.

Should these CT state officials use the police power of the state to assault, terrorize, and take people's property and lives by brute force, then the dogs of war are loosed.

The first KIA in this war is the Rule of Law; it is replaced by the Law of the Jungle. The second and subsequent casualties will be gun owners, non-gun owners, law enforcement officers, media synchophants, the politicians who passed this unconstitutional law and ordered its enforcement, and an assortment of liberal cheerleaders for tyranny.

Civil wars are not civil. Once the first deaths occur, the genie is freed from his prison and cannot be recaptured. Civil wars cannot be manipulated or controlled and they assume a life of their own. Once begun, no one knows who will win but many, many people will die.

Note to the petty tyrants seeking to control free people: you can send your thugs to murder your fellow citizens and steal their property. You can vote yourselves perks and retirement benefits stolen from your fellow citizens. However, your fellow citizens still get to vote and with terminal results. Perks and retirement pay are of no use to someone who has assumed room temperature and taken the Big Dirt Nap.

"Officials have literally ordered those who failed to meet the registration deadline to surrender their firearms or face arrest."

They have no way of knowing WHO owns a rifle in the banned category.
You buy a rifle, it gets listed as a "long gun".
They can GUESS, but they would be wrong 75% of the time - no judge wants to be party to that, (not yet, anyway).

The law bans the sale of magazines holding over 10 rounds

Does it ban giving them away for free?

So any guesses on how many guns will be turned in fro every “felon” that is gunned down by a SWAT team in front of their family? I’ll start 100.

As you probably know, Colorado recalled two state senators who helped sponsor state gun laws.  A third state senator resigned when she was also targeted for recall.

Gun rights will be an issue this coming November and our Gun Owners of the Rockies will be a great influence in this years election.  In various areas of the country the people are fighting back and taking our country back using the means we legally can use.

Everything will be OK as long as the state doesn't start sending in SWAT teams for confiscation. That will inevitably result in bloodshed and then less-than-civil disobedience.

Still, at that juncture, many will rush to turn in their banned weapons out of fear and hope for the best. But there are some who won't.

Once the State decides an example must be made of these newly minted "felons", the resort to force will result in a few dead "felons" and perhaps a few dead cops. Then some of the previously law abiding and peaceful "felons" will figure there is no good sense in waiting around for the inevitable neighborhood informer or records search, the 3 AM smashed in door, the dead family dog, the wife and kids held in terror by heavily armed black-clad gunmen, the family home ransacked, and being dragged from bed, beaten, shackled, and hauled off to jail for a long jail term which will ruin his life and family. I suspect at that point some small percentage of "felonious resistors" will reckon it's time for "asymmetrical warfare". Then it will get truly ugly.

These gun grabbers are purposely turning peaceful, law abiding American citizens into criminals simply for exercising their 2nd Amendment rights and they are willing to ruin their lives and families to do it. In the end it will not end well for the tyrants. Then they will discover what fear is really like as they become the hunted. There will never be enough police or bodyguards to protect them and their families.

They really are playing with matches and gasoline here but they delude themselves with their self-righteousness and uniformed allies. It is they who have turned their peaceful and beautiful State onto a police state and their fellow citizens into "felons" for their ideological reasons.

I’m thinking of getting a door breach alarm that instead of a siren or horn announces:

I AM A THIRTY SECOND BOMB! I AM A THIRTY SECOND BOMB! TWENTY-EIGHT, TWENTY-SEVEN, TWENTY-SIX...

It should make for a short visit.

Nothing more need be said, except that millions of non-CT Americans are in agreement with this rebellion against blatant tyranny by the oligarchs.

When, not if, the police raids start do you really think that they, the police, will fully abide by the law “manufactured after 1994”?

Like many gun owners in the Florida Panhandle, and I suspect elsewhere, my “assault” rifle and its supporting high capacity magazines where manufactured before 1994. So they are legal under the Connecticut statues.

But, based on their recent performances when it comes to legal and Constitutional rights do you really think that means anything?
