Over seven in 10 Obama voters, and 55 percent of Democrats, regret voting for President Obama's reelection in 2012, according to a new Economist/YouGov.com poll.
Conducted to test the media hype about a comeback by 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, the new poll found voters still uninspired by Romney, but also deeply dissatisfied with Obama who has so far failed to capitalize on his victory over 15 months ago.
The poll asked those who voted for Obama's reelection a simple question: Do you regret voting for Barack Obama?
Overall, 71 percent said yes, 26 percent no.
80 percent of whites said yes, 61 percent of blacks said no and 100 percent of Hispanics said yes.
84 percent of women said yes, and just 61 percent of men agreed.
55 percent of Democrats said yes, as did 71 percent of independents.
Still, given the choice of Obama versus Romney, Obama supporters said they would stick with their guy, 79 percent to 10 percent for Romney.
But his voters seem to have moved on and are ready for the next election, giving Obama very early lame duck status before the midterm elections. The poll, for example, found that Hillary Clinton has a higher favorability rating than the president. While Obama is underwater in his ratings, Clinton is buoyed by a 50-percent favorable to 43-percent unfavorable rating, with a sizable 28 percent rating her very favorable.

Whatever possessed anyone to vote for him is beyond me.
Obama’s too right-wing for most Democrats.
Thanks for nuthin LIV’s
Unfortunately, at least half of those Democrats who regret voting for Obama want someone even further Left...
Romney.
Well, DUH!!!
I could’ve told these idiots of their regret 2 years ago. Boneheaded boneheads.
“Regret” and “How Will You Vote In The Future” are exact opposites. They’d vote for him again and again hoping for different results, so “what difference does it make”.
Don’t mean nothin. If another election were held in three months these people would all get put into the media trance, the republicans would not get into attack mode and he would win again
Even the dead voters are rolling in their graves.
I think the answer is in the last paragraph. 79% said they’d do it again with the choice of Romney
He was not well liked. He lost to Obama.
He was terrible
There you have it in a nutshell: most of the idiots who voted for this creep don't think what he did was wrong. They just don't think he implemented it right. They can't wait to elect a more inspiring echo.
“84 percent of women said yes, and just 61 percent of men agreed. “
What gives? Are we all just pajama boys now?
Or is there a War on Men going on that I haven’t heard about?
Seems to me this poll data identifies the perfect line of attack on Hillary’s potential nomination if she makes it to the general election — the R’s should just say - “If you liked how things went under Obama (i.e., economy, healthcare, growth), then you can have four more years of the same with Hillary.”
100% Hispanics? Sum Ting Wong.
Even worse, the Obama voters haven’t apparently learned ANYTHING from their poor choice in 2012. Now they want Hillary, a former first lady, carpetbagging senator of New York, dysfunctional Obama Secretary of State and avowed leftist. There is nothing in Hillary Clinton’s personality or ideology that shows she has what it takes to inspire more than meal-spewing revulsion from anyone other than hard core leftists.
I no longer have any patience for this kind of thing. I vented a little on Friday evening after watching a segment on The Kelly File that had these two brainica constitutional scholars talking about Hussein’s power grab and ignoring the constitution. One of them said, oh yeah, I voted for him twice but I really don’t like what I am seeing here and it’s very alarming and blah blah blah. I just can’t take these idiots anymore. The damage that has been done could very well be insurmountable at this point.
Nah, too late...the GOP has already put on the kid gloves for Hillary.
Thanks, drones!
I’ll email this to 2012 when it would have made a difference.
Both of them have concrete track records of failure and malfeasance their idiot backers are still unperturbed.
