Another fab herb is turmeric. Used in many Indian dishes, it is also touted for anti-inflammatory properties. It is becoming a popular supplement for aging aches and pains.

I am on jury duty!
Indeed I am to report to Georgetown being sure not to park on metered spots and to get there early enough to get a place on the street. Not that The Wise I doesn’t know where to park in Georgetown, the Sussex county seat. Lots of big trials go on in that court house.
also I am to not bring anything in the court house that could be used as a weapon, including make-up items such as a mascara wand.
Y’all got to know that nothing good’s going to come out of this. 64 years old and never called for jury duty before....way I figger, if the prosecutor charged them then they are guilty.
But Georgetown? Man I got this.
Tomorrow! Us folks on jury duty, WE GOT TO WORK ON PRESIDENT’S DAY!
My biggest fear about Christie is not that he will try and run as a Republican.
Cumin, coriander and cardamom are biggies in Indian curries and side dishes.

I cannot stand curry....in fact Indian food doesn’t do much for me. Mangos should be banned from the planet.
I put some Cumin on my potato salad....we shall see.
I wonder why they are not building desalt plants all over the West coast. Its such a simple answer to the problem.
Key West used a desalt plant for fresh water for the entire city for years.
We have mini-plants on boats these days! They turn sea water into fresh and then into ice if needed.
It’s a new world. We should use the technology available.

Cumin -Is a main component of curry and other hot spice mixtures. Primarily used in spicey Mexican, North African and Middle Eastern dishes (don’t use too much). It has some health benefits (digestive and others):

Frankly, I think my original statement is best, when I say I just can’t get into political fiction written by Hollywood. Hell, they even distort the heck out of real events. In any case, whenever I watch any show that starts getting political, it is ALWAYS anti-conservative/pro-leftist, and that just get me so hot under the collar it ruins the entire production for me.
The only herb we have here in the Keys is marijuana.
They bake it into everything here....It’s very medicinal...

Man...on The Chew, Chef Ramsay, the Iron Chef....they all use Coriander and Cumin.
Funny story....at this past Monday GOP meeting....well before that...at the grocery store, I shop...see a lady I know. Go down aisle, buy the Cumin and Coriander at five bucks a jar...see the lady again. I pause and say...”Don’t I know you?”
She says yes, from the Sussex GOP.
Well she was there Monday night when they handed me the microphone (I’m getting real good with that microphone guys...remember the church last week) and I saw that same lady.
“I’ve BEEN USING THE CORIANDER!” I shouted to her. She came over and told everyone my story....so heh, there ya go, making the spice story match the narrative. Insert smile here.
The Jury duty thing is a hoot. God wanted me to go on jury duty.....He needed a good laugh. Big mouth me on jury duty? All my friends and acquaintances think THIS should be interesting.
Sussex GOP is allegedly working with my editor (if you go to the link, the editor is the black guy, second from left on screen....name is David Anderson. He was Kent county’s manager for Christine O’Donnell, is now a Dover councilman and serves in Afghanistan) to have me write for THEIR web site.
Whatever, whatever....I have every intention of following my arrow, wherever it points.

I don’t have a crystal ball, but I have a feeling I know who the Jury Foreman will be on that jury ;-)

Man this Georgetown court gets the best cases, national things. Last week they had a guy, get this, on trial for WATERBOARDING HIS STEPDAUGHTER!
News trucks filling up that town.
I’m on call for the next two weeks.....I smile all night at this. Getting lots and smiles and winks over this turn of events.
Cause God has a plan for me and this is one more nutty insight my Lord and Savior provides me. Dear God, let me keep my mouth shut but please don’t forget who reigns over the Georgetown court house.....
