Thanks for the update from you both.

Frankly, I think my original statement is best, when I say I just can’t get into political fiction written by Hollywood. Hell, they even distort the heck out of real events. In any case, whenever I watch any show that starts getting political, it is ALWAYS anti-conservative/pro-leftist, and that just get me so hot under the collar it ruins the entire production for me.

The slurs are thrown in with as much factual certainty as summer is warmer than winter, or adults are larger than children.

This is because to the writers of these shows they are stating "facts."

It happens in popular novels, too. And hits one of my nerves every time.

I totally agree! It would be great to see a good movie with a Pubbie Prez and a mean Dim congress, etc. Jon Voght would be great in such a film (he’s a good actor and conservative).
