Thats because the technology the $2.2 billion Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating Station uses could be a threat to wildlife it generates heat so intense theres growing evidence it is scorching birds, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Here in WA, where most of our power is hydroelectric, the legislature ruled a few years back that water power is NOT a renewable resource.
Really?

Environmentalism is just a tool to make the masses conform to Marxism. They couldn’t care less about the environment.

Lets be honest. This was a dead zone before they put the solar plant there. Not according to what I've experienced. HA!!!

Growing evidence. Come on. A flock of geese flew by and everyone had goose dinner that night. Feathered and cooked before they hit the ground

um.. and THIS is preferable to an oil rig? LOL
I have NEVER seen something more damaging to the environment than that solar array !
NOTHING can live there! that must be a total dead zone!
And the libs claim that they are concerned about the caribou if drilling in ANWR gets approved!

Weed?
Click the link I posted after the pics above. This is a dried up salt soaked “soil” of a died up lake bed. Very little grows here and what does grows very little. This isn’t a pasture.

Did you look at this place? It is not a place of much growth. I did pipeline work through here many years ago.

I know of it....
I'm against the whole thing...based on Gobment giving them money...Just like they are doing here on the NE OK prairie...to the wind companies.
I'm against them both for killing birds, reptiles and mammals. I'm not a tree hugger nor a member of PETA...I'm TOTALLY SQUARELY against the TOTAL white wash by PETA, SIERRA CLUB, ANSEL ADAMS, club types....Where they think it's JUST DAMN fine to have 20-30 Bald Eagles a year wiped out...and the US Fish and Game and the EPA sign off on it too!!!
It's so much BS...it's not funny!!!
So how much money did this out fit get to build there solar plant???
Sorry....RANT OFF!!

P.S....GOD forbid....my windmill kills a Red-Tailed Hawk...and someone see's it and turns me in.
God forbid a Prairie Chicken flies into my picture window...and dies. And someone turns me in.
God forbid........

It's just south of Stateline, Nev., and about 10 miles north of Mountain Pass, Calif.Mountain Pass, CA is 340 miles Southeast of Stateline, NV as the crow flies! Must be a huge field.
