Sean Hannity was among a group dining at Ruth’s Chris in Washington, D.C. following the State of the Union last month. The diners, which included “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, CNN’s Newt Gingrich, and Sen. Ted Cruz, racked up a $5,000 bill.
TMZ reported the “Duck Dynasty” star picked up the bill and gave the wait staff a 100% tip. But sources tell TVNewser, it was actually Hannity who paid the tab and added the $5,000 tip. Hannity knows from service industry work: during college he worked as a dishwasher, bartender and short order cook.
5,000 dollar tip?That’s more than Joe Biden gave to charity during his first term as VP.

That $5,000 tip is also a lot more than the value of the used underwear that Bill Clinton donated to charity.
Ruth’s Chris is a bit pricey but, I’ll wager we are looking at a 2500 service bill and a 2500 tip, +/-
Hannity may have picked up several other tabs in the place, not just the one for his party...he’s just that kinda guy.
Would loved to have heard the dinner conversation amongst those four...

I wonder how many of the tip recipients vote Conservative or EVER WILL?
I did my stint in the service industry. The best tippers were usually active or former waiters, busboys, cooks, etc.
One of my best friends worked his way through college as a busboy and waiter. He taught me how and when to tip...and if possible use cash.
As these big tip gift stories grow, it is almost making rich people appear isolated from working people, outside of wait staff in nice restaurants.
There are a lot of working people that don’t serve the rich their meals.

Very bad advice in today’s world, because it seems nowadays that when you pay the tab by credit card and pay the tip with cash, the waiter/waitress is likely to scribble some kind of ethnic slur on the tip line of the credit card slip and then use that “evidence” to sue you for a hate crime!

Reminds me of when the HRC was running and a panhandler asked for a hand-out and she sent an aide to give the guy a voter registration card.
