I was watching the local news this morning, and there was a story that "Texas could be turning blue". The story was about some remarks that Rand Paul made about the party being more "inclusive", like reaching out to hispanics, etc. Every time I hear people say stuff like that, what I really hear is "we need to be more like the democrats in order to stay in power". These RINOs don't seem to get the fact that the GOP base is onto them. I'd as well lose all elections and see all our ideas repudiated than adopt the ideas that are repugnant to us in order to be elected.
