“Romneycare” Romney’s loss in 2012 for POTUS saved Rove from TV obscurity.
Rove has more power and requests for TV face-time when the RINOs lose, and lose big.
The reason is that most low information Republican voters do not understand that the dominant RINO Wing of the Republican Party has LOST every battle with the Commie Obamacrats from McCain’s defeat in 2008 until now, BECAUSE of the failed RINO Political Philosophy.
IOW, as long as the low information Republican voters support the failed RINO Wing of the Republican Party, the Commie Obamacrats will continue to very easily “Fundamentally change the United States of America” into the Neo-Communist Utopia that Obama, the Democrats, and the Leftstream Media want.
We Republican Conservatives thus willfully tolerate our sorry RINO Congressional Leaders at our peril, and the peril of our Republic !
The Neo-Democrat sub-wing of the Dominant RINO Wing have been conned into the believing that the only way to compete with the Liberal Democrats is to become more Liberal in the false hope of capturing part of the Liberal Democrat’s voter base.
The result has been to expel the Conservative base from the Republican Party.
Boehner and McConnell have chosen to become Obamacrat RINOs, because they know that they will never be able to win any battles that Obama, Reid and Pelosi have designed,
IOW, “If you can’t beat them, join them.”
Their RINO goal now is as follows: “ Get something done, because ‘The American People’ want us to get something done.”
To the great glee of Obama, this RINO false circular reasoning makes sense only to RINOs, Democrats, and the low information voter.
A Conservative Language restatement, (IMHO, of course), of the above failed RINO Political Philosophy in Conservative language is as follows:
* always cave in to ‘your best friends across the aisle’,
* make illegal Congressional bypass ‘deals’ with the administration,
* never appoint House Special Prosecutors to investigate any violation of the Constitution,
* avoid standing on Principle,
* propose and support spending continuing resolutions,
* oppose Conservative filibusters,
* bad-mouth the TEA Party Wing of the Republican Party,
* and above all, ‘do something, even if it is wrong!’
The 2013 RINO Cave In by Boehner and McConnell during and after the Reid-Obama partial shutdown of the Federal Government last Fall sealed the final approval of Commie Obamacare.
Thus, Obamacare became the Litmus Test for the RINO Wing of the Republican Party.
The “Hold your nose when you vote and hope for the best” old argument that states:
“It is better to have a RINO Republican in Congress who will always cave in to the Democrats than it is to have a Democrat in Congress” is now subject to scrutiny by the impact of first FIVE YEARS of evidence from our Obamacrat Democrats and Cave In Obamacrat RINO Republicans.
What say all of you?
My hope is that the RINOs will cooperate with us if we put more conservatives in Congress, but I have to admit their track record isn’t very good. I blame that on us, because we haven’t done a very good job of demanding party loyalty. McCain is an excellent example. He’s constantly working against us, but he keeps getting reelected. It’s utter futility to demand loyalty if we can’t back that up with making them pay when they sell us out. We have to vote more of them out of office in order to teach the rest to behave.
I also hope the RINOs eventually learn their political philosophy simply doesn’t work. A party cannot win by directing most of its efforts at the mushy middle. You have to get every last one of your loyal supporters to the polls. That’s paramount. You cannot win with an apathetic base, even if you manage to pull in a few more moderates. Unfortunately, the RINOs haven’t given us any indication that they’ve learned from their previous failed attempts.
It’s up to us conservatives to save the moderates from themselves, because we aren’t going to have any moderation whatsoever when Democrats win.
“Neo” means “new”. There is nothing “new” about communist utopias, nor their espousal by tyrant-wannabees.
What is missing in all this is truly missing: no conservative message. Without a conservative message, meant to bind people together, conservatives have no means to attract voters.
Well, I’m partial to Reagan’s 80/20 rule. That said, the RINOs would have to improve substantially to even make 50/50.
