Couple of them got into with me on a mutual friend's FB page. Basically told me to sit down, shut up and just let the government to do my thinking for me.

You repeat a point that is very important....Obamacare’s unstated goal is to make each and every physician that treats a patient or submits a claim, guilty of felony fraud. They have extorted us into the debacles of EMR’s, HIPAA, ICD10, PQRS and eRx....all with thousands of dollars of penalties and possible jail time. So if you displease, they can come into ANY practice and find fraudulent activity.

In my 32years of practice I always proudly claimed to never even think of retiring, now if I had any other skills I would be gone in a nanosecond.

   That makes sense to me. They use a generalized term to muddy the language. The words "doctor" and "nurse" just sound better to me. Schools have "media" centers, but I call them libraries because "media" makes me think of something in a petri dish. When I hear the word "gender," I think of Spanish phrases like "El carro" and "La leche."

  Someone out there is trying to ruin the language.

Yeah, “provider” is a nice fudge word that hospitals and insurers can use to dazzle the patients. I went to Medical School, NOT “Provider” school.

"Provider" is a favorite PC word for the Medicare and Medicaid government bureaucracies. (CMS?) It's used to downgrade the public perception of the highly skilled professionals who provide medical care, which in turn helps in justifying inadequate payments to their slaves.
