Because the Chamber of Commerce wants it, as well as the other crony capitalist who wink and nod while paying illegals half what they’d pay you or me. Also, illegals buy a lot of their stuff. They don’t care if the money is half wages or welfare, so long as they buy their stuff/use their services.
These business-types pay a lot of money to keep RINOs in office, and they’re not going to let them back down so easily, unless WE put up a fight NOW.
Step-in-awfulness has a Monday morning conference call with Carville and other libs every week. So much for fair and semi-balanced over at ABC=(Always Be Careful) when you watch.
The sooner he is dismissed the better.
You make that sound like a bad thing. That's enough reason to do it right there.
So your saying this coward of a speaker who won’t stand up to Obama walking all over him is also a coward when we get pissed at him? Delicious! Keep it up, folks!
We’ll have him on Maxi-Wash high spin before it’s all over. Maybe a Speaker so afraid to do anything due to the political disadvantages is the best thing to happen to us all? No new laws this way!
What do they think they will gain?
Morning SC they finally opened I-10 over her in Pensacola. Seems the bridges were freezing over.....Hope all is well on the “left” coast.
Tim Scott is very eloquent and persuasive. Gregory had almost nothing to say except welcome; although he did begin his first question by recounting the NAACP guy’s insult of a black Republican senator.
Now that Christy has been discovered to have been a fraud all along looks like the GOP-E is turning to ol’ Jeb. massive push to legitimize him. Personally, I’ll take any one of about a dozen of our present sitting governor’s rather than dear ol’ Jeb.
...when the government fears the electorate, you have freedom.
Don't be lulled into a false sense of security. This is not dead by any means. Zuckerberg has started his ad blitz on TV supporting these principles. There will be a few months cooling off period while Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, Goodlatte, and McCarthy work behind the scenes to craft legislation. Several bills are in committee or have been voted out of Committee on immigration. There is a phony border security bill in the House Homeland Security Committee.
We must let our legislators know where we stand on any immigration bill coming out of the House. The GOPe will wait until after the primary registration period is over and then try to work once again on getting an immigration bill thru. especially one on border security that can be used as a Trojan Horse with the Senate.
The other side has much more money and the megaphone. All we have are the people. Someone I know who works on the Hill said around Christmas time that she expected that there could be an immigration bill in the lame duck session of Congress. However, she didn't anticipate the current GOPe push now on immigration. Something is afoot.
Look for the DNC snakes to try and suck our side into signing any type of an immigration bill we will sign. They know if they get anything at all between Podesta, Holder and Jarrett it will get morphed via EO’s into the wildest version of amnesty the country has ever seen.
My fear is that Obama and the democrats will go along with a very strict ‘border security’ component to amnesty and the Regime will ignore it after it passes.
I had a chat with a top aide of a candidate for Congress last week.I told him about the EO potential for any immigrations bill at all that might get past our side and he was flabbergasted! Had not even considered it!
We have far more intelligent strategists here on FR that those now in office or running for office. It should not be that way. No wonder we lose all the time.
Great catch SC. Cantor can not be trusted to do the right thing but rather the GOP-e thing.
I'm not at all. That's why I'm saying for ALL of us to write; get angry... Get in their faces. I even provided links. Did you see them?
