POLL: SARAH PALIN HAS HIGHEST FAVORABILITY RATING AMONG GOP PRIMARY VOTERS
Breitbart ^ | Wednesday January 29, 2014

Though former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was not included in a Public Policy Polling survey of potential 2016 Republican presidential contenders, she was still overwhelmingly the most liked person among Republican primary voters. According to Public Policy Polling:

The best liked person we tested on this poll with Republican primary voters is actually Sarah Palin who has a 70/20 favorability rating. She's followed by Huckabee at 64/18, Ryan at 58/18, Paul at 58/21, Bush at 56/18, Cruz at 45/20, and Christie at 40/38. Most of those numbers are similar to what they were a month ago but Christie's seen a substantial drop from +18 at 47/29 a month ago to his new +2 net favorability.

The left-leaning polling outfit asked Republican primary voters, "Given the choices of Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Scott Walker, who would you most like to see as the GOP candidate for President in 2016?"

Huckabee led among the group with 16% to 14% for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; 13% for Chris Christie;

the only way to combat the sexist and 'war on women' cards is to run a woman against Hillary. ANY male will not win against Hillary, the MSM will see to that.

Hillary's going to have to run against Benghazi, but I take your point. If she runs (not a certainty), and if she wins the nomination (also not a certainty), then any Republican male besides Ted Cruz is going to have a hard time beating her.

It would be far wiser for the GOP to run the most popular female on our bench, but we know they'll never get behind Palin. She'd have to fight the party elites to claim her place, and given the potential dynamics at work, they just might give in and accept her. Same as what happened with Reagan. They didn't want him either.

None of that works for me, either!

That's what I'm hoping will happen with Sarah. They will eventually realize the Wisdom of Palin.

Boy, it didn't take long for the insults to start!

You still haven't listed a single accomplishment after two posts.

Why did you bring up Hillary's name?

Palin was who was being discussed.

I am still waiting for a single accomplishment to be named.

And what has she actually acomplished?

She went to college and got a degree in journalism and then worked as a sports announcer (like Reagan). Then she worked in her private business and raised a litter of children and ran for mayor and was elected Governor. She basically ran a bunch of crooks out of the State in order to do that.

She is a very accomplished woman and is a great example of the kind of woman I want my granddaughter to grow up to be.

I am rather dismayed that you have joined the anti-Palin bandwagon. Palin is everything I want in a president. She is a self made American who loves her country and loves Jesus. What more would you want?

Accomplishments of Sarah Palin:

Mayor
Governor of Alaska
Media Journalist
Business Owner
Founder of Conservative PAC successfully electing
conservatives more than any other PAC on the RINO side
News Commentator
Star of Outdoor Life Program
Succesful Author
Christian
Mother
Unquestionable Right to Life Supporter

I can’t imagine this doesn’t compare more than favorably with ANY other candidate you can name.

You still haven't listed a single accomplishment after two posts.

What accomplishment do you believe is a necessary qualification for your endorsement?

If you don't think Palin (who is a self-made millionaire) has accomplished anything in her lifetime, what accomplishment are you looking for?

Is being a congressman for 30 years an "accomplishment"?

Is running a crony capitalist investment firm a sufficient "accomplishment"?

Is being the wife of a former president a sufficient accomplishment?

To me the most important accomplishment a person can acheive is to get through life and have Jesus say to them at the end "Well done, Good and faithful servant."

I admire Sarah Palin. She has accomplished more than I ever will in my life and she has managed to maintain her dignity in light of some of the most vicious personal attacks ever leveled at a politician in the history of this republic.

So tell us, what "Accomplishments" would satisfy you? What could Sarah Palin have done that would resolve your problem with her alleged lack of "accomplishments"?

I will say those things, because I love my country, too.

"Tough" does not imply you use "frontal assault" in every battle. That is suicide, and does not achieve the objective. Precisely because I am the Backwoods Engineer, versed in the wily ways of the woods, I see merit in other tactics: the stalk, the snipe, the trap, the end run.

Voting, at the Federal level, brings no movement back toward a Constitutional order whatsoever. This must be admitted. Just more of the same, accelerating toward tyranny at full throttle. This is primary because the FedGov now consists mainly of the bureaucracy, which has displaced the Constitutional branches, who gave up their power to it willingly.

The only options left are at the state level. Whether by resistance to FedGov dictates (individually or collectively), nullification, limited secession (breaking up states to decentralize power), or full-blown Article V Constitutional conventions, the states are our last hope for return to a Constitutional order.

I submit that we should spend our time on those things, rather than support get another RINO for the Presidency.

God is most certainly not dead, but his wrath does not sleep. And America deserves it.

But the Lord Almighty always reserves unto himself from every nation a remnant. I hope to be part of that remnant, part of the nation that is spared the brunt of his wrath.

But wishing that the FedGov is not fully controlled by evil will not make it so.

... sigh ....

Again...you've been here since 2001, which means you've probably run into dozens upon dozens of posts over the years, detailing Sarah Palin's record in public service. It's not a secret, and yes, it's extensive.

This is all public knowledge, because why? Well, she was the Republican VP candidate six years ago, and she ignited the right-wing base like no one since Reagan. Before that, she was the highest rated Governor in America. In other words, conservatives have discussed this lady's qualifications in great detail for a very long time. Even before McCain picked her to be his running mate.

Now, I could go dig up her record for you, or you could simply make a few clicks and search it out yourself. If you're honestly interested, you'll just do the latter. If you've got other fish to fry, you'll come back with some snarky comment, or continue to badger me for something that 99.9% of Freepers are already well familiar with.

No problem Cap’n. Praying for your continued recovery. Take it day at a time Jim, that’s what the Good Lord gives us. As me old Irish grannie used to say “Get down on yer knees and thank God yer on yer feet!’’.
