"I thought Luntz had a nervous breakdown and quit doing this stuff."

From "The Atlantic"....."Luntz's crisis began, he says, after the last presidential election when he became profoundly depressed.

"For more than a month he tried to stay occupied, but nothing could keep his attention.

"Finally, six weeks after the election, he fell apart. Leaving his employees behind, he flew back to his mansion in LA where he stayed for three weeks, barely going outside or talking to anyone.

" 'I just gave up', Luntz says."

It's difficult to ascertain from sketchy reports what was bothering him, but essentially it appears to me from the article that he became emotionally fed-up with politics, parties, leaders and the voting public in general.

Well, it looks like he's back in harness on Fox.....but, of course, one does have to eat and pay the upkeep on mansions.
