On the airwaves and behind-the-scenes, two major conservative radio hosts are waging a war for the afternoon drive and the moral high-ground. A simmering feud between radio stars Michael Savage and Sean Hannity has burst to the surface now that the two men are going head to head in prime drivetime battling for listeners and advertisers in an already competitive market.

Savage???
But he sucks so much...
It was the faggot Dan Savage:
He went onto claim that Limbaugh "didn't really" move out of New York and had some rather disparaging things to say about Hannity.
I'm not a fan of Hannity, listen to Limbaugh for maybe 2-3 hours a week during my lunch break. I have my own issues with Limbaugh at times however he is probably one of the best Conservative minds out there on the radio.
Savage seems to have forgotten who the real enemy is (liberals) and seems hell bent on taking down his fellow Conservatives. Not someone I can support because of that.
My apologies, wrong Savage, thanks for letting me know
Holder comes on, I tune out. Time to email Hannity and tell him so. We all should!!
He’s also the POS who was blowing his nose/coughing on rag and wiping it on Gary Bauer’s campaign HQ doorknobs to pass on germs. Nice, huh?

Savage is definitely narcissistic, he cant help himself. I wish he would stop talking/attacking other hosts, its childish and only diminishes himself.
Savage is not a nice guy, anything but shallow and boring, but has his own issues.
Savage is so petty... Entertaining in his pettiness, but petty nontheless
I’d have a beer with Sean. If I had a beer with Savage it would probably end up with me knocking Savage out and going to jail for fighting again. Guy just rubs me the wrong way and while Sean is redundant his redundancy is for the most part conservative.
Agreed, but she’s just one of ‘em, although she is certainly a primary idiot.
But Jamie, Dupris, any of his brothers from another mothers, Karl Rove, the mother of his adopted chirrens’, Linda the Producer, Tavaris, any of the GOP-e.
I cannot tolerate these folks at all. I do not want to hear anything they have to say about anything at all.
I will take Sean Hannity over Michael Savage anyday. Savage is just to unstable.
I thought Savage had moved to nights. Is he back on in the afternoons again?
Since his time change, I haven’t like his show that much. He seems to have lost that spark that made him interesting. Most of the time he seems morose and self-obsessed.
At other times, I enjoy his analyses of various things, particularly of political ploys.
Listening to Hannity is like listening to a long-running soap opera. If you miss an episode, you really missed nothing because it's the same old stuff the very next day. Hannity is like white bread; bland and boring. A nice guy, but stays very much inside the lines.
Listening to Levin is nearly always interesting. He gets some great callers on his show also. It's very educational about our national political scene and what's really going on.
My guess is that a majority of listeners lack college degrees also. Savage sometimes catches himself saying that about Hannity and quickly tries to exempt listeners from his "snobbery."
When Savage started first as fill in on KSFO sister station KGO then full time 4PM - 7PM on KSFO he caught hell from the liberals on KGO. He fought back but nowhere near the obsession he has vis-a-vis conservative competitors nationally. As a local host he didn't really compete against KSFO fellow hosts claiming instead that he alone was responsible for KSFO's success. Was he serious?
I literally never missed a minute throughout the 1990s and into the 21st century.
I no longer participate on his thread realizing the majority of my posts were reactions to things I did not like; mainly I despised his dumping the snark on conservative talkers and authors.
I still congratulate him for being more forceful than most speaking out against enemies foreign and domestic.
I am a fan of all talk radio. I have no "home team." I want all of them to remain in business.
I fear though that in Savage's own words he intends to become less partisan and more "diverse."
I recall remarks from the Dickey brothers that that suits them fine. IMO however it means Savage is being nudged into a self-imposed Fairness Doctrine. But some parts of his shows are like the "old Savage." Great IOW -- and we should be prepared to defend him against government persecution.
But when he starts dumping the snark on his competitors I turn the dial to Hannity; then to Tom Sullivan -- lastly switch on bluegrass to hear classics like Take Your Tongue Out Of My Mouth I Am Just Here To Kiss You Goodbye and Her End Justifies The Jeans.
My recollection is Savage started the feud mainly against Rush and Hannity; Levin handled the initial retaliation and started catching hell from Savage.
I swore completely off Hannity after the election when he parroted the RINO talking points of "making nice with immigration 'reform,' be friendlier to 'women's Issues,'" etc.
Savage is another subject. When he first hit our airways at night, I tried listening as he focused on some conservative points with which I agreed - then, he launched into some of the most childish name calling I had ever heard a grow up use! He had cheap, petty nicknames for more talk show hosts than I had ever known of.
Now, Savage has taken over Hannity's time and station spot but I'll merely forgoe listening to talk radio at all during those hours, for our local talking heads include a so-called conservative, yet one who despises the TEA party, and his wacko female side kick!
Hannity vs. Savage: “Conservatism for Beginners” vs. “Conservatism for the Unhinged.”
Hannity is all-in for our troops. He may not be be the hardcore conservative we all love, but given those two choices on my radio dial it’s not a difficult choice.
Thanks for the ping Savage has passion for sure
Also in same slot, Howie Carr out of Boston/New England. He does get into some New England stuff but does a lot of good conservative stuff

Caller: “Hi, Michael, how are you?”
Savage: “Don’t ask me how I am. Just get to your point....”
Caller: “Sorry. I, uh..., I’m a long time listener, but I think your belief that George Zimmerman should have been convicted of murdering Trayvon Martin is wrong....”
Savage: “That’s because you’re a moron who can’t think logically. Don’t ever call my show again. Call that other guy, Harvey Wallbanger, who’s as ignorant as you are....”
