He’s been dubbed the “Blow Torch Rapist” and Detroit police say he’s struck again.
The latest attack occurred just before 7 a.m. Wednesday in a largely abandoned neighborhood near Plymouth and Meyers roads the city’s west side.
A 43-year-old woman told police she was leaving a gas station when a man came behind her and put a gun to her head. The woman said her attacker forced her into a car, ripped off her clothes and began burning her face with a blow torch.
Police say the victim stabbed the man in the eye with a screwdriver and was able to get away and call for help. She’s currently hospitalized in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene in a small, 4-door, beige vehicle. He’s described as a black male with a dark complexion, in his early to mid-20s, about 6’2″ tall and 185 pounds. .

My guess is the accidentally include “black” in there. They meant to say “male with a dark complexion.”
Isn't this racism on the part of the media? I mean, when did we start allowing descriptions of the perp when they are black.
I sincerely hope they catch this evil creep. But he deserves to be slowly burned with his blowtorch, starting with his toes and working up to his eyeballs. He makes the case to bring back public executions.
Must be a pretty strong sense of anarchy there if a woman has a screwdriver in hand when she’s filling up at the gas station.

Detroit isn’t a terribly politically correct town.
Local (black) critics slammed the short lived show, Low Winter Sun for portraying Detroit as being a primarily white and middle eastern town. One critic even said the producers were trying too hard to play the PC game.
JHP to the eye would have been better, but we should take what we can get. Her most effective defensive weapon is located between her ears, and she appears to have used it well.
She needs to get Legally Armed in Detroit. (LAID) Probably not the most fortunate acronym in this case but it is what it is and Rick Ector often offers firearms training to women for free.

"Earlier today, it was reported that a Michigan man accidentally shot himself in his penis while attempting to adjust his unholstered firearm. Not only did this idiot seriously injure himself, but he is subject to being charged criminally for a negligent discharge resulting in injury. To boot, he will probably also lose his Concealed Pistol License. Don't pull a "Plaxico." Use a holster every single time that you carry a handgun.

It can be complicated to get that one right. According to sick and twisted folks that know about these things, when done correctly, the impaled individual can suffer for days. I'm not sure our government employs this level of competence.
I'm done. This is starting to conflict with my Christian values. (Before anyone gets to riled up, Jesus suggested a lethal dose of drowning for those who would sin against a child.)
I hesitate to ask what caliber the man was packing. But it is relevant in this case. The difference between a .22 and .45 could give us some insight to this guys future potential to expand this gene pool.
This evil f needs some community justice before the cops find him.
