One of the unexplained mysteries in the scanty documentation of the early life of the 45th President of the United States is the appearance of the name Soebarkah as his last name on an official document filled out by his mother.
In a recent contribution to American Thinker, Nick Chase offers very persuasive evidence that the long-form birth certificate released by Obama is a forgery.
While in the midst of developing an argument supporting the idea that Obama was adopted by the Indonesian Lolo Soetoro, Chase states:
Finally, we have Stanley Ann Soetoro's 1968 application to extend her 1965 passport (now destroyed) for an additional two years, as shown in Figure PPA. On the second page of the application, Ann moved to exclude her son Barack Hussein Obama (Soebarkah) from her passport, but the item has been crossed out -- perhaps on the advice of the consulate in Jakarta, as this would have left seven-year-old Barry passportless -- so it didn't happen.
The appendage "(Soebarkah)" has never been satisfactorily explained by anyone, and I certainly don't know what "Soebarkah" means, but it does seem to indicate a name change or change in citizenship status for the boy.
Clearly, just what constitutes "a satisfactory explanation" varies with respect to persons, subject matter, context, and so forth. And yet, there is a very good -- and simple -- explanation for the seemingly random appearance of the sobriquet "Soebarkah" on Mother Soetoro's passport application. Believe it or not, the reason may be linked to one Loretta Fuddy.

Interesting. Thanks for the post. BTTT.
Obituary: Eva Bartok
...Milford Haven had introduced Bartok to the teachings of the Indonesian guru Pak Subuh, and in 1968 Bartok gave up her career and took her daughter to live a life of “peace and tranquillity” in Jakarta, Indonesia. She then moved to Honolulu, where she opened a school to teach the Subuh philosophy...

SUKARNO=SOEKARNO/SUHARTO=SOEHARTO/SUTORO=SOETORO
SUBARKAH= SOEBARKAH
These changes were instituted around 1977, when Soeharto went on a westernisation kick. The annual school holidays were changed from December-January to June-July to match those of western countries, and spellings were changed, most notably the Dutch ‘oe’ to ‘u’.
Other changes were ‘tj’ to ‘c’, both pronounced ‘ch’, and ‘dj’ to ‘j’, which was previously pronounced as ‘y’. Djakarta = Jakarta, tjutju = cucu, tjahaja = cahaya, etc.
Eva Bartok, whatta babe, eh?
Correction, tjoetjoe = cucu.
Stanley Ann Dunham used both SOETORO and SUTORO.
I'm not making a claim, it's a simple FACT.
She was Hungarian and lies like a rug imo. But interesting that she went to Honolulu to teach Subud.
Do you speak the language? Would you be able to translate the spoken word from a video?
The locals always remark that I speak Bahasa well, but I think that is because I use lots of Betawi and Jawa dialect, and never learned it ‘properly’. If I watch the TV news or films, I only understand about 25% of what’s going on. Unlike Malay, Bahasa Indonesia is more relaxed, with a lot of double entendre and slang thrown in.
My wife and kids, however, are very fluent in both Indonesian and English. What video do you have in mind?
I don’t ‘protest too much’ I simply try to set the record straight when I see something obviously stupid, and I always supply sources which show how I formed my opinions. Insulting me gets you nowhere - it certainly won’t make me feel it’s going to be worthwhile repeating myself.
You would catch a fly or two with less vinegar and a little more honey, maybe.
You might be able to help with a project that has been shelved for some time because we were never able to locate anyone who understood the spoken word well enough to translate. I will have to now find the URL and get back in touch with you. Look for a private message in the next day or so. And thank you for your prompt reply.
Then offer me an explanation why Stanley Ann Dunham used the names SOETORO and SUTORO?
Are you aware that Indonesian names are written in our alphabet PHONETICALLY?
Stanley Ann Dunham (November 29, 1942 November 7, 1995), the mother of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, was an American anthropologist who specialized in economic anthropology and rural development. Dunham was known as Stanley Dunham through high school, then as Ann Dunham, Ann Obama, Ann Soetoro, Ann Sutoro (after her second divorce), and finally as Ann Dunham.
SOETORO=SUTORO
I’m an Australian. How would my opinion of the Cold Case Posse have anything to do with what I am trying to communicate here? Do you really think that I am, as a foreigner, going to take a critical position on something of that nature? I’m interested in the historical background, and my efforts have always been confined to trying to understand where this unidentified child came from in 1961.
That is a matter that concerns me, as it should concern everyone in what’s left of the free world.
How your law-enforcement or private investigators operate is none of my business. If I were to praise them, you would ask me on what grounds.
If I were to be critical, you would ask me the same.
I imagine they are doing the best they can under very trying circumstances.
So having come thus far, are you ‘buying it as a conclusion’ that the name Soetoro is the same as Sutoro, therefor it follows that Subarkah is the same as Soebarkah?
Just as Soeharto is the same as Suharto?
Or do you see something suspicious about that?
Charming.
