Raises major questions about what U.S. was doing in secretive facility.
The extensive Senate report on the Sept. 11, 2012, Benghazi attack dropped a major, unreported bombshell: The commander of U.S. forces in Africa was not aware of the existence of the besieged CIA annex.
The staggering detail raises the question of what was transpiring at the fated annex and nearby U.S. special mission and why key members of the Defense Department, including those responsible for responding to emergency situations, were not aware of it.
Questions now must be also raised as to why, on the night of attack, command of an elite unit known as C-110, or the EUCOM CIF, was reportedly transferred from the militarys European command to AFRICOM, or the United States Africa Command.
... Page 77 of the report further divulges that Gen. Carter Ham, then-commander of U.S. Africa Command, was not even aware there was a CIA annex in Benghazi at the time of the attacks.
Continued the Senate report: We are puzzled as to how the military leadership expected to effectively respond and rescue Americans in the event of an emergency when it did not even know of the existence of one of the U.S. facilities.
On the night of the attack, Ham was placed in charge of the C-110, a 40-man Special Ops force maintained for rapid response to emergencies. The force was trained for deployment for events like the Benghazi attack. Command was transferred from the militarys European command to Ham in the middle of the attack

Bttt
(a rhetorical question since she probably initiated the operation)
My my my.....General Ham was saying that in his military opinion, attack aircraft weren’t right for Benghazi. Here now, we find out he had a 40 man Special Ops outfit. What was his considered military opinion about this unit? What’s his next excuse going to be? The sun was in his eyes?
As payback for Lockerbie, Reagan did airstrikes against Khadaffi —at Bengazi, even. Naturally, Khaddaffi came to know the threat of airpower pretty well, and went on a decades-long campaign of acquiring MANPADS —very many of them.
At final tally right before his fall, Khaddafi had 21,000 MANPADS which went almost totally unguarded.
Funding a CIA op often brings meddlesome questions from Congress, so with all those missiles laying around, Libya presented some interesting intel op potential:
1. No questions from Congress
2. Little need for funding missile buys
They had knocked off a dictator who was having real reservations about the whole petrodollar system, and they’d use HIS missiles to knock off Assad —nice..!
BENGAZI, PICK ONE:
1. Missiles for Muzzies
2. Swap Cyclops for Stevens
3. BOTH of the above
?????
Why did Hillary and Obama use American taxpayer provided facilities, equipment, personnel and funds to overthrow the government of Libya? What was our pressing national interest in that?
Good stuff - bump for later
FREE THE BENGHAZI 40!!!!!
This is not a “bombshell,” nor is it a surprise at all. I have always believed that the targets in the Benghazi attack (including the U.S. ambassador, perhaps) were part of a CIA operation that was being run outside normal military channels.
I wonder how much blackmail we’re paying Al Qaeda to keep those missiles boxed up? Eventually, they’ll want too much and then Obama will be “totally surprised” while the paid Democrat liars in the American press try to cover for him.
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
Maybe it was a two birds with one stone operation - and someone wanted Ham out...
BTTT!
“Would you want the military to know that you were arming their enemies, hmmmm?”
I think we have a winner!
and no one from the secret facility has ever been interviewed - strange??
That’s not big enough for this level of cover -up. That’s the excuse they’re trying to sell...
Looks like certain amateur rogue elements of our government, in this case the entire civilian administration up to and including POTUS, decided they could “wing it” all by themselves...
Treason is the polite term for what happened in Benghazi.
