Discussion thread: Who should deliver the GOP response to the State of the Union?

Obama will deliver yet another boring, adversarial, political speech next Tuesday..a.k.a The State of the Union Address to Congress (though since he's recently told us that he has a phone, and a pen, and doesn't need Congress for jack..maybe he'll boycott it.) John Boehner and Mitch McConnell in consultation with others, will decide who gives the Republican response. So, the question is, who would you like to see respondng to Zero?

Joe Wilson is a great idea. The whole time he is speaking, everyone will be reminded that he was the first one to call the impostor-in-chief exactly what he is. It will resonate now with many, many people, as he owns the lie of the year!

Start looking with threatened RINO office-holders who need to appear conservative on a large stage. Since Boehner and McConnell are choosing, that means this is a patronage job.
