Fox's news czar tells THR about his goal to launch a new network with Bill O'Reilly, the real reason Alec Baldwin was fired and why Jeff Zucker's strategy is no cause for concern: "I guess he's going to do whales a lot. If I were Discovery, I'd be worried."

ABCNNBCBS MEDIOTS = OBAMAGANDA 24/7/365 WITH 0 REAL NEWS!
I haven’t watch tv news in years.
All my news comes from FR....if it ain’t on FR, I don’t need to know about it-—LOL!
Good article.
I wish we had a sense of who his successor would be. He’s old and fat after all. Same for Murdoc. Perhaps BOR?
MSNBC. Is that a new disease? Will they have telethon fund raisers? Will Alec Baldwin be the host?
You really have to admire Ailes, he’s not only wildly successful but he’s outspoken and doesn’t play the usual PC games. I hope he’s grooming a whole strong of successors who will carry on his tradition at the Fox properties.
It really isn’t relevant whether FReepers watch FNC or anything else. To each his own. But there is no question about the superiority of Ailes approach to cable TV programming and it’s refreshing to see someone who doesn’t call a spade as a “sharp-bladed tool for digging”.
“..Perhaps BOR?..”
:::::::::::
I hate to think of that happening. BOR is not a conservative per se. He plays both sides and stays very neutral on issues that he should be taking a strong, pro-American stand on. My vote on BOR is NO!
There’s more news value in the latest edition of MAD magazine or in a cartoon from Warner Bros., than there is collectively in all of the alphabet soup programs posturing as “news.”
Drive a stake through their microscopic heartless souls.
proving my point, I like this excerpt about his competitors:
“The NBC News people won’t get caught dead on MSNBC. They could have a traffic accident in front of the window, and they wouldn’t cover it. For CNN to also throw in the towel and announce they’re out of the news business is quite interesting. That means Fox has won the cable news wars. [Zucker] had a big hit with a whale one night [the documentary Blackfish]. I guess he’s going to do whales a lot. If I were Discovery, I’d be worried.”
Maybe Sean?
BOR lost me when he dissed the Swift Boat Vets to preserve his “thougtful moderate” schtick. He’s a hack.
Could not agree with you more!!
BOR lost me when he criticized FR for being extreme. Then again, he took my post on FR completely out of context and wouldn’t return my calls when I wanted to set him straight.
It’s all useless. Every single bit of “news entertainment” is utter crapola.
I used to watch Fox News all evening. Now almost never. I now watch just the NFL, NHL networks and some reality TV (Pawn, Duck, Storage). All my news is online (FR, Drudge, HotAir etc).
“He plays both sides....”
.
That’s what a good salesman does.
She's already not far behind O'Reilly's numbers.
WHY? Because she actually let's her guests answer questions without incessantly interrupting them... not to mention she's much more easy on the eyes.
What is he talking about? Andrea Mitchell seems to always be on PMSNBC.
I can’t take the Fox reporterettes seriously when they are sitting there in sleeveless dresses when it’s -40 wind chill outside.....all because they are copying the Worst Lady’s dress style. They can’t be too intelligent.
