CBS/Reuters January 5, 2014, 8: 26 AM Obama’s birthday gift to his wife? Time off, alone
HONOLULU - President Barack Obama is going to give his wife the birthday present that many parents can only dream of - time off, alone, without the children.
The White House said on Saturday first lady Michelle Obama would stay in Hawaii, where the family has been on vacation for the last two weeks, rather than return home with her husband and their two girls.
"As part of her birthday gift from the president, the first lady will remain in Hawaii to spend time with friends ahead of her upcoming 50th birthday," a White House official said.
The president was leaving Honolulu late on Saturday after a vacation that was filled with several games of golf and dinners out. He and his children are scheduled to arrive in Washington on Sunday morning.
The Associated Press compiled a list of how President Obama spent his last day of vacation in Hawaii on Saturday:

Yes, I’m sure she needs time off. It’s a heck of a lot of work taking care of two girls, with NO outside help, no servants, no cooks....and look at the size of that big house she has to clean as well! Never mind the lawn and the garden!

The witch (or “B”, depending on how you see her) has been on vacation since the odumbo’s took office and on our dime to boot. If she wants to stay in Hawaii, “vacation” and travel at their own expense NOT OURS.
Additionally, who in their right mind will miss her?
Meanwhile, the kids will be back in school and Zero can have quality time with Reggie. If that isn't enough for Zero, he could always invite Pajama Boy over for some hot chocolate.
I am so glad that the President was able to immerse his family in the charity that is from the American Taxpayer. Meanwhile, I frantically labor to obtain insurance due to his charity known as Obamacare.
