When I saw a post here at FR that said, 20 of us go every weekend for breakfast at Cracker Barrel, and we will now be going to Bob Evans, I knew they would be changing their minds.

Perfectly reasonable and accomodative. Corporations are controversy-averse. They moved to avoid controversy, then reversed course when a greater one arose.

My brother is getting a pillow with Phil Robertson's face on it, full sized. It has has a recording of Phil saying something, I forget what! Got it at Bass Pro Shop for $20.

I was going to get him a baseball cap with an attached beard but I forgot which catalog I saw it in. My catalog stack is 1 1/2 feet tall and I just didn't have time to search.

They are in the business of selling food and merchandise to the public. They have a certain demographic to which they seek to appeal. Very few corporations have any sort of singular vision that lines up with FReeper expectations. They did, however, respond correctly to the controversy.
