A&Es suspension of Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson will apparently not affect new episodes of the show scheduled to start airing after the holidays on January 15th. Entertainment Weekly is citing sources close to the situation who say that when the show returns from hiatus, footage featuring Robertson, who caused a major uproar with his condemnation of homosexual sex in GQ magazine, will remain intact.
Theres no negotiation to have; were doing the show, the insider told EW. Well figure out a solution...

The way I see this whole drama is that the gay peeps are furious that Mr. Robertson spotlighted with a very bright light onto the “act” itself. This is what has their panties in a twist, IMO.
“Mr. Robertson”
The Robinson family put out a comment that the show will not go on without the head of the family being in the show (paraphrase). They see no way the show can go one without the head of the family....now I think the ball is in the A & E side of the court. Its all or bye bye. Good for them. If the family continued without dad, I wouldn’t watch it again.
Everything I've seen and and read about the Robertson family doesn't see that happening.
If A&E thought they were dealing with another Kardashian family they are going to be gobsmacked.
Phil’s back? GLAAD to hear that.
Well this is kind of a misleading non-story. They’re going to be playing shows that have been been taped this year, in 2014.
That gives these poofters a year to figure out what to do. I hope they make the right choice. To take the dad — Phil — out of the dynasty? What kind of dynasty is that?
