A&Es suspension of Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson will apparently not affect new episodes of the show scheduled to start airing after the holidays on January 15th. Entertainment Weekly is citing sources close to the situation who say that when the show returns from hiatus, footage featuring Robertson, who caused a major uproar with his condemnation of homosexual sex in GQ magazine, will remain intact.
Theres no negotiation to have; were doing the show, the insider told EW. Well figure out a solution...

Well then, that’s not much of a “suspension” is it?
Almost like a NCAA suspension.
Our goal is to get him back on the show, or have the show continue on another network. That will show GLAAD.
They don’t want to kill the duck that laid the golden eggs. Ka-ching!
The next season is already in the can, the question is will they include Phil when they start shooting the following season?
So A&E waited until the new season was in the can before pulling this stunt with that magazine. Isn’t that cute!
It was already taped.
All of the 2014 episodes have already been taped.
Better question is, will the Robertson family want anything to do with A&E?
I hope that the Robertsons walk away from A&E. Christians need to have a role model for someone who is willing sacrifice for his faith.
Liberal fascists suck
Hmmm, viewership dropped by 75%, and they have a whole season in the can. Call me very surprised (NOT) to see them wise up here.
Imagine only 25% of the audience remaining for that season, and A&E with a lot of spots to sell at 25% of the former value.
CaCHING!
That'll show us rubes, for supporting a show that we're supposed to be laughing at over caviar and French wine in our penthouses.
They think we are stoooooopid and Want us to back off
You can bank on the fact that they only did this show to poke fun at stupid redneck Christians and when that didn’t happen, they enabled the GQ story to leak so they could be “outraged” and satisfy their Gay Mafia string-pullers.
Well, it didn’t work. Here’s hoping the Robertsons continue to find ways of demonstrating their faith, and the true character of this nation, for the elite A&E liberals who thought this was a good idea.
and they will wait till the noise dies down and right before the next season filming starts to lift the suspension. At that point Phil will likely tell them to shove their gig up their anus.
It would be very cool if Robertson filed a motion to block release of the new episodes. Probably wouldn’t hold water but it would be enough to at least cause a delay.
Well, I feel vindicated.
