It's a foul play deserving a free kick in the behind.
A controversial video has surfaced showing a father forcing his young son to run alongside his car for football training while using expletives to encourage him go faster.
The tiny tot, appearing only 5-years old, does his best to stay up to the vehicle's speed while running in Crocks, but as the video shows, it's not good enough.
"We're going eight miles per hour. Come on. Pick that s--t up," the unidentified father calls.

He obviously doesn’t care about his son’s feet.
I didn’t see terror. In fact he seemed to be smiling a bit sometimes. I didn’t like all the cursing by the dad, but some parents do that. We don’t know what went on prior to that, do we? Maybe the kid indicated he “wanted” to train for football while he was in the truck in his crocks and the dad was showing him what it was made of at that moment. Maybe now the kid doesn’t want to do that so much.
I don’t know. I just don’t think it was that bad a deal.
Harbaugh?
However - you put anything on YouTube, no matter what it is, you will find someone there to exploit it to their own advantage. Expect crap back if you put crap out there.
What’s wrong with it, it was done all the time in the early 50s.
Never heard of using explosives though.
All you jerks are a bunch of pussies, grow up!
I guess it was cool when they did it in “Forrest Gump”, correct?
>>Harbaugh?<<
I LOVE that commercial!
How many people who are “outraged” will spend $100 a session to for a Cross Fit trainer to do basically the same thing to their kid? I would get rid of the Crocs though.
That redneck doesn’t deserve that kid. As a father of a 8 year old I see a lot of my little Jake in him. Daddy should serve time and make new friends in the shower.
It was actually pretty cute. The boy was obviously not very stressed about it.
It wouldn't have happened in 1940, or 1950, or even 1960. Dads didn't involve themselves in their kids' play-time back then. Boys just went out and played.
Sounds much like our abusive Little League baseball manager. His boy was on the team, and an outstanding center fielder. Quiet, sensitive kid with a great arm for his age. Could gun down runners like a rifle shot from the outfield. The old man insisted he be a pitcher, and put him on the mound in the middle of a game. Then, proceeded to scream at him from the dugout. Poor kid folded under pressure. Couldn’t throw worth spit. The old man called a time out, and marched out to the mound. He grabbed the boy’s shirt front, slapped him across the face and screamed “SETTLE DOWN AND ACT LIKE A MAN!” Both dugouts emptied, followed by everyone in the bleachers. The old man was lucky to get off the field alive. His boy never touched a baseball again.
I dont know. I just dont think it was that bad a deal.
You didn't like the dad's cursing at the little kid but didn't think it was that bad a deal.......
That's the problem with kids sports today, parental abuse just isn't that big a deal..........
Just curious, since you admitted you didn't approve of the cursing, what behaviour on his part would force you to actually condemn his behavior?
GMTA “Mandelbaum! Mandelbaum! Mandelbaum!...”
Come on people. I feel like I’m in Twilight Zone and got redirected to the DU. Obviously this father is just playing around. His son probably was waiting for him at the corner and wanted to race him back to the house.
The only bad thing I see (other than a little colorful language) is that he takes his eyes off his son a couple of times while he is moving. That is the kind of thing that can get a kid run over. But really, the pile on going on here is ridiculous.
If you think the nanny state can do better and you are okay with men being butt raped in prison, then maybe you are on the wrong forum.
Is that what you plan to teach YOUR little boy, dad?
Looks like daddy’s a sadist who should be locked up in a looney bin...
