He was bullied for his outspoken opinions and didn't care much for Republicans.
Karl Pierson, 18, who stormed his Colorado high school brandishing a shotgun and bearing hatred for his debate coach, critically injured a 15-year-old fellow student before shooting himself to death Friday afternoon as he was cornered by heavily armed police.
"He had very strong beliefs about gun laws and stuff," said junior Abbey Skoda, who shared a class with Pierson during her freshmen year, The Denver Post reported. "I also heard he was bullied a lot."
After undergoing surgery Friday, the injured girl was listed in critical, but stable, condition on Saturday.
On his Facebook page, he seemed to make fun of Republicans, writing "you republicans are so cute" and posting an image that read: "The Republican Party: Health Care: Let 'em Die, Climate Change: Let 'em Die, Gun Violence: Let 'em Die, Women's Rights: Let 'em Die, More War: Let 'em Die. Is this really the side you want to be on?" The Denver Post reported.
On Saturday, his Facebook comments had been wiped from his page.

Many things I disagree with Savage, but he has been correct with “Liberalism is a mental disorder” for a long time.
Since they closed the mental institutions down and started putting the inmates on the streets and into political positions, the mentally ill have gotten more aggressive and now represent the new normal.

I have long thought that anti-gun people are that way because they project their fear of what people will do with guns on all gun owners. They are unstable and they want to hurt people.
I developed that theory after dealings with a few unstable leftist in my own family. Their tendency toward violence is hair trigger.
Read USA Today or the LA Times. They have him presented as a 2nd Amendment and Bible kook.
I can’t look at either publication. I must protect my eyes since I’ll be 60 next month.
And sorry there are a lot of us because we have seen no “protecting and serving” for the last two decades. We have see militarization and jack booted actions. We have seen more stories about dogs being shot for no other reason then they barked at the cops. Who in most cases were at the wrong house or wrong warrant being served. We have seen old men shot by cops because they dare grab their gun from next to their bed when there is a no knock warrant being served, and the thugs break through the doors like stormtroopers. We see cops that have no respect for us law abiding citizens. Why should we embrace them and let them continue to harass and victimize us?
There is no "due process" associated with those camera tickets.

I won’t argue but there are hundreds and hundreds of cases where it is innocent victims harassed and shot for nothing more then the wrong address. And take Boston where a pig was pointing his rifle at a person taking a picture. Or forcing people from their homes to search without due process. People are fed up with cops. I do believe their are good cops, my brother being one. But most are sociopaths.
