PRESIDENT OBAMA: Third, we need to set aside the belief that government cannot do anything about reducing inequality. It’s true that government cannot prevent all the downsides of the technological change and global competition that are out there right now -- and some of those forces are also some of the things that are helping us grow. And it’s also true that some programs in the past, like welfare before it was reformed, were sometimes poorly designed, created disincentives to work, but we’ve also seen how government action time and again can make an enormous difference in increasing opportunity and bolstering ladders into the middle class. Investments in education, laws establishing collective bargaining and a minimum wage -- (applause) -- these all contributed to rising standards of living for massive numbers of Americans.

Hence, the paradox that there can be no such thing as equality, as an elite class vs the common man demonstrates.

The assumption of the religion of humanism is that those humanists who attain power are inherently more competent, ethical, and benevolent than any commoner,

and therefore can be trusted with elite power and perks.

Yep, he’s on video saying it’s “too constraining”. It’s funny, people argue whether something is Constitutional or not...or maybe he doesn’t understand the Constitution. That isn’t the issue, he understands it perfectly - he just *disagrees* with it and won’t follow it unless he’s forced to, which isn’t happening.

We don’t vote in a President to “change the system” (but follow it and it’s rules) but this is precisely what he thinks he has a right to do...which means he MUST break the rules established in the Constitution and his oath of office at the very least.
