Alec Baldwin's MSNBC show "Up Late" has been taken off the air for good, but the outspoken star notes that MSNBC host Martin Bashir remains on the cable news channel.
Baldwin came under fire for allegedly using a gay slur against a photographer on the street, while Bashir called for Republican tea party favorite Sarah Palin to be administered unprintable punishments from the days of slavery. Bashir's remarks were scripted and made it onto his program.

"Martin Bashir's on the air, and he made his comment on the air! I dispute half the comment I made," Baldwin told Gothamist.
Baldwin acknowledged using profanity during his verbal attack, but insisted he did not use a gay slur. Bashir made his comments on a Friday show and apologized the next Monday. MSNBC has made no comment about punishing him.
Baldwin also disputed a New York Post report that he had demanded to be given a makeup room that was being used by a woman with cancer who is sensitive to hair sprays.

..the a$$ kisser has no a$$ to kiss
Because he kisses more ASS than you Dolt. . . . .
They should have kept him on — he would have drawn ratings!
Because Baldwin bashed gays (loved by NBC) and Bashir bashed conservatives (hated by NBC). Not to mention that Palin represents a huge threat to the NBC mantra. Very simple.
Bashir did not attack a gay person. So that’s OK.
NBC don’t care about ratings...they please the little boy king and “hope” he is happy.
1. Because NBC and its owners FULLY
support Bashir’s sick comments.
2. Because NBC is prepared and excited
to have Bashir’s advertisers devastated
by a huge commercial boycott and rout,
for their gross abuse of women and conservatives.
“Alec Baldwin, Fired by MSNBC, Asks Why Not Martin Bashir?”
Simple, Baldwin ridiculed homos, who control much of the MSM, while Bashir spoke obscenely of a conservative patriot.
Because he is not Martin Bashqueer — but you are. The ones Martin bashes are just OK w/ the bosses. Just don’t ever make homos the butt of your derision.
Mr. Baldwin, a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged by reality.
Think about what you just said...
I hate to say this but I know someone working with Alec Baldwin - a nice guy I’ve known for several years. And he says Baldwin is very nice to staff and crew. So, go figure!
Answer obvious.
Offend a Republican - keep your job.
Offend a certified victim group member - grovel and get fired.
White Guilt Liberals can’t hack it when other White Guilt Liberals attack you for being White
Baldwin would get a lot more respect if he would just admit Bashir I’d being kept for his name and skin color
Alec, since you’ve ticked off so many people, nothing can make things worse, try this.
Get a picture of “committed Christian” Martin Bashir and a picture of his wife, Deborah, and suggest that someone needs to take both of them, take a dump in THEIR mouths and then take a whiz in there.
Then, when the uproar begins, laugh hysterically at them.
A week later, apologize and ask MSNBC for a job, since you are now just as qualified as Martin Bashir, and will probably get a larger audience.
Oh what the heck.I wanted to see him flip out and grab somebody by the neck live.
Alec -
Actually, all of the MSNBC hosts should be fired, because they have ALL been offensive at one time or another.
Unfortunately for you Alec, MSNBC had a momentary instance of sanity at the same time you were opening your mouth to speak. Bad timing for you.
Bummer, man.
Progressive thinking:
Because fags are a protected class. Sarah Palins are not. Therefore, Baldwin has committed a crime; Bashir has not.
Compare what Bashir said with Rush truthfully calling Sandra Fluke a slut to see how duplicitous the liberals are in their feigned outrage and the War on Women meme.
Just like a liberal. Just can’t take responsibility for his own actions....so he tries to throw someone else under the bus to justify himself.
Wow! The mind of a liberal.
