Cutesiness is yours and that’s apparently all you have to offer. It looks like you are saying something about pan-Orthodoxy. Is this order of the dragon part of it? That sounds like something Satanic to me.

There is an adage in logic that states when you being with a false premise everything that follows is suspect. In Hobbes case when you begin with 2 false premises it is pretty much a good idea to throw it all out the window. 1)For from the time that the Bishop of Rome had gotten to be acknowledged for bishop universal, by pretence of succsession to St. Peter,

The ecclesiastics likewise, in whose dominions soever they be found, acknowledge but one universla king, the Pope.

Thank you for sharing I appreciate your effort.

Don’t expect a lot out of a cutesy fire bomb thrower.

I’ll disagree with you but I’ll also try to respect you for why you are where you are.

Some kind of tribute for having done so? I said that I googled for it, which wasn’t much help.

Look I don’t want to be uncharitable. But it’s really hard to carry on an intelligent conversation with someone who plays charades.

You and I have both agreed and disagreed on a number of issues, but neither of us plays games. We both say what we mean and mean what we say. Sometimes it is difficult to "understand" or "know" exactly what a person intends to say due to the lack of proximity and not being able to see facial expressions and mannerisms. I do enjoy reading much of what you write because it provides a different well thought out perspective.

I guess Barack will reconsider moving out of the Vatican now.

Well ultimately, it’s because I, and I believe you too, agree with the Lord that when he said “let us reason together” he means it.

Charades aren’t reasoning. We got someone who’s talking about the Orthodox branch of Christendom here, and I can’t see anything more about what that someone means because that someone won’t say. Hobbes wasn’t an Orthodox as far as I know.

Did he actually use the term “liberation theology”?

If so, James Cone (and indeed Jeremiah Wright) will be getting all excited.

Obama will declare an emergency reopening of the Vatican embassy and name Wright ambassador.

Read what it really says. Don’t believe the lamestream media.

You keep posting this and telling everyone that the "interpretation" from a known conservative site, Breitbart, is incorrect and leftist. However, you want us to believe that the translation from your site, Ignatius Insight, run by a bunch of known leftists , the Jesuits, is correct and conservative.

The Jesuits embrace Obama and every other leftist/socialist principle and you want us, the conservatives on FR, to ignore the truth and believe them? I don't think so!

the freer the marketplace --not crony corporatism

And not just crony capitalists but also corporatocracies in which businesses too big to fail and monopolies drive small players out of the market.

Free markets thrive best when there is generous ease of access to the development of new enterprises, industries, and ideas.

First, it ain’t the media!
Second, as an American, why should I give (**) what some darn Italian says?
(FYI, Rome has set themselves up as a secondary kingship, many many moons ago. America do not follow a kingship, since 1776, no matter what the newspapers/fishwrap try to sell us.)
Third, I owe no allegiance to either the Anglican Church of England, nor that funny group in Rome. You may, go right ahead. That’s your choice as an American.
Me? I am a disheveled, disillusioned no more, no more practicing Pentecostal.

I knew some of these players of this tragedy:

Has another bishop ever become pope while the existing pope was still alive?

Also, this is a reminder that the Church teaches that a pope is not infallible except under specific circumstances, which do not exist here.

Hey, Frank, how’s the state control working for you in Cuba? Zimbabwe? Venezuela? About the same, I guess, as in the Vatican, where those at the top sit on massive fortunes while their constituents starve.
