That was my take too, that since there are more poor then rich the Pope should have had more to say to the poor --like 'get a job'. The worst part of the Evangelii Gaudium, Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Francis, 2013 (which contrary to he MSM Marxists never once mentioned 'captialism') was that it suggests that it's OK to envy the rich and steal from them because some how it's all their fault.
What happened to “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.”?
What the Pope's exhortation tells the poor is that when the poor envy what the rich have, it's the rich that are covetous---

---and taking stuff from the rich is OK because it's all stuff the rich stole from the poor in the first place:
