The armed robber shot the store owner in the leg before all the money had been handed over. Authorities say the gunman then walked outside and returned to get the rest of the cash, but by that time the owner had managed to get a gun. When the gunman approached, the owner shot the robber at least 11 times.

If he hit the robber with eleven shots, the robber must have been higher than a kite on meth or sheer adrenalin.
Most perps run when shot the first time. For this one to stand there while 11 out of 12 shots thudded into his flesh, it boggles the mind how enraged/determined the robber must have been.
It’s as though he was waiting for the shopkeeper to run out of bullets before continuing his assault.
11 shots will do’ed it!
What a stupid criminal, the guy was armed and PO’d
Store clerk wants a Thompson .45 Tommie Gun.
He kept moving! Well, twitching at least.
With so many criminals on drugs, that’s not a bad idea. I remember growing up during the PCP craze and there was always a story about police having to shoot a guy multiple times because he was high on angel dust and wouldn’t give up his attack.
I would agree
Good. Saved us money.
I've never had one of those magazines, but I've read they can be unreliable, and in any case are heavy and bulky.
If you really need a lot of shots without reloading, I'd go with a 60-round Surefire. Not that much larger than than a 30-round PMAG (see picture).
Once the perp put a slug in the victim, the victim had a green light to shoot him as many times as he wanted, even in the back if he was running away.
If the robber “allegedly” robbed the store...how come the store owner didn’t “allegedly” shoot the robber?
If he's still standing with a weapon in his hand, you keep shooting. You don't shoot once and examine his demeanor. You keep shooting.
If he goes down but still has a gun in his hand, you keep shooting.
You stop shooting only when either he is visibly no longer a threat, or you're out of ammo.
Nobody seems to have a photo of the decedent.
That being said, “The Get and Go convenience stores are a part of the Giant Eagle family of stores and although it is unknown if the company has a no weapons policy like many larger national chains, according to Buckeye Firearms Association of Ohio, the Giant Eagle stores at least those in the state of Ohio have removed signs which prohibit firearms.”
Or as my Marine buddy says, “The target either changes shape or catches fire.”
“Dude, why’d you shoot him eleven times?”
“That’s all I had.”
11 shots, 10 on target
Nice shooting! (extra points for tight grouping)
Thank you for this story. What a nice heart-warming feel good story just in time for the holidays. Can’t wait to share this tale of hope and good cheer to my family at the dinner table tomorrow. Where can we donate to buy more bullets for the store owner?
