True story. A couple of years back, I was walking home at night on North Capitol Street here in Washington, D.C., when two dudes randomly assaulted me before running away without stealing anything. At the time, I didn't think it was all that strange—I've lived in urban areas all my life, and plenty of people I know have been victims of anonymous street crime.

According to the author, Matthew Yglesias, if you conclude there is racial motivation to this "game" you are a racist. He also states that his assault couldn't have been knockout because they kicked him while he was down and that is a rules violation. He then goes on to equate knockout king with his own summer camp experiences as a boy. Lastly, he claims that this trend, that the liberal media has been trying so hard to NOT report for over two years, was fabricated out of thin air.

Writers like this guy are why I don’t discuss anything substantive with leftists. It would be easier to discuss philosophy with my 4 year-old son.
And what of the lynchings of “scabs” who crossed picket lines? Do those negate the other hate crimes that local officials didn’t want to investigate?

I would assume that “Knockout game is fake” orders went out over the “Journa-List” about 24 hours ago, as all the left-wing media are now converging on this meme.
No doubt they will be quoting “fabricated victims” and twisting the logic into racism, just as they have construed the LACK of weather disturbances into proof of “climate change”.

* Blacks cannot be racist therefore my assault was not racially motivated.
* This nonexistent game has rules. The perps didn't follow the rules, so they must not have been playing the game.
* Since the blacks who play this nonexistent game cannot have racial motivation, anyone who thinks they do is a racist.
* Since racists are the ones who claim that this is happening, it must be a pure fabrication.
