Trumpeting the ever-increasing weight of outside political organizations, Karl Rove's campaign groups out-fundraised the Democratic National Committee during the 2012 election cycle, according to a draft tax return obtained Friday by the Wall Street Journal.
American Crossroads and its nonprofit arm, Crossroads GPS, together raked in more than $325 million during the 2012 campaign. The DNC, by contrast, raised $316 million, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.

Expenditures for Crossroads GPS included donations to other conservative groups like Grover Norquist's Americans for Tax Reform, and a $538,000 salary for its president, Steven Law.

And he managed to piss it away.
There’s a difference?
Oh goody. ~s~
Raising money is not the same as winning elections. The Democrats had 30 or 40 Psychologists and Sociologists working on their side during the last election. The Republicans had a bunch of Political Scientists. The Democrats were working to get people to VOTE for Democrats. The Republicans were working to FIGURE OUT how many votes they might get in each precinct. Now, which side is winning?
Did any if that money go toward Conservatives facing the weight of the DNC machine??
Does W get a cut of Rove’s media cut?
...to little or no effect.
So that was so much extra money for the DNC?
The liberal media kicks back a 15% commission on all of his advertising spending back to Rove’s companies so who knows where that commission money goes?
How much went to discredit conservatives?
Rove’s job is not about winning elections. It’s about pocketing advertising commissions and consulting fees.
W thinks Cruz is an ingrate.
I could see where W thinks he made Rove and should get a return on investment.
His next opponent is us.
Well it looks like the DNC’s $316M can buy more LIV votes than the RNC raised for Republican candidates.
To him...and the broadcasters get a gold mine...and for what, losing?
Give to the Senate Conservatives Fund, starve Karl Rove (he could use a little starving).
The DNC raised 316 million. That doesn’t include ACORN money, PP money, Uunion money and all the taxpatpyer dollars that went out that was kicked back to the DNC. Also doesn’t include money from outside the US.
I would venture to say that is close to a billion.
What about the liberal PACs like the guy whose wife was murdered by Romney?
And did they outraise the TEA PARTY?
Probably, but that’s relative and static.
Future will be what the future will be.
In my dreams, I see this stupid wigger begging forgiveness, and trying to convince us he DIDN’T say what we know HE SAID.
He is one of Satan’s disciples, sent to undermine the opposition.
Why do these RINOS work SOOO HARD to undermine conservatives, but “REACH OUT” to the RATZ at the DROP OF HAT??
HEY YO! ROVE! WE GOTCHER NUMBER, AND WE AIN’T LETTIN GO.
Bunghole that you are, you will be dressed in an orange jump suit right next to yer RATZ buddies.
AND I HOPE YOU DON’T LIKE IT.
I’ll stop now, and go to bed.
