As Mark’s said since I got here in 3/12, the US Military’s being “hollowed-out and gutted”... I pray that it hasn’t gotten that far.

If you add-up all the hunters/firearms users, we far outnumber any standing army in the world. Your and my states lead the way.

Yes......

Usama was a rich kid gone off the deep end. His family pretty much disowned him. There are there, like here, fundamentalist that are more rigid in their beliefs than most. That applies to some wealthy as well as not so wealthy.

As a whole, Saudis are are more fundamentalist in their beliefs than say those in Indonesia or Egypt. But they are far from the wackos most here believe them to be. Like all things, there are degrees and extremes of extremes

There are many many Saudis educated here that know the score. They know our strengths and our weaknesses. They would find Obama to be a scoundrel long before many in America would. We Christians have abandoned fairly recently many of the traditions and rituals and morals they still hold dear.

I have done business 1 to 1 for years and have great respect for them. They are America’s as opposed to Obama’s ally. There are many Americans with a strong hand in the growth and modernization of Saudi Arabia. The change is recent, within my adult life time. We still have very strong non oil trade relations.

This change has caused the turmoil

Bandar who lived here for may years liked to say “we want to modernize, but not to westernize. “ It is a difficult task

At some level, we may deserve what is to come upon us. We have ALLOWED GOD to be elimionated from virtually every aspect of our lives....and Im gonna go out on a limb and suggest that HE isnt pleased with us...and we MAY need some good old fashioned humbling!

I’ve got a Class III AR-15, SBR, select-fire, suppressed, 60-rnd mag, red laser & light, Trijicon ACOG TA01, with your name on it. When you melt that barrel, the Cannon gunsafe’s got a LOT more “specialized pieces” in it, and you’ve got your choice of whatever I’m not using at the time.

The marxists/leftists/socialists/commies/progressives/gang-bangers/lib-dem faggots don’t stand a chance. They’ll be stacked like cordwood, in the fields.

Thanks for the thoughtful, insightful look and advice, bert. What you’ve just told me is just what I needed to hear, at this point in time.

Based upon what you’re saying, are we putting inseparable distance between them and us, because of the leftists/lib-dems/marxists/progs etc have done to America, and we’ve ‘allowed’ it to happen slowly over the past 50yrs, culminating now, by not fighting back hard enough?

Bandar is someone I tend to trust...but reserve that little bit of scepticism.........it is good to always have some scepticism when dealing with an Arab....(not necessarily a Muslim though...I dont trust any of thos goat effers!)

——Inseprable distance-——

Perhaps but I would argue they do not live to a 90 day business cycle nor 4 year political cycle. They seem to me to be very deliberative and take a long time to make a decision. The fact there is talk is in fact a major event. Saudi’s do not reveal thoughts or intentions lightly.

They are in a quandary now that Obama has left the group, how to proceed? I believe that there is in fact some military cooperation among the Gulf Arabs and Israel. Saudi Arabia is, I believe, the designated spokesman for the Gulf Cooperation Council Council.

Most important, the group, coalition etc that includes Israel, and the GCC sand probably Jordan and Egypt, in now free of the drag that was the pacifist Obama. They also have learned that there is more than one way to skin a cat. that is, the Iranian nuclear effort can be stymied by means other than bombing from overflying aircraft. It has been several times.

Back to inseprable. I see the primary problem as business not religion. The GCC are first and foremost very good at business and trade. They have built Dubai into a powerful engine of business and center for trade. Many American and other world companies have offices and distribution centers there. These trade relations are much stronger than the political bonds with the Obama administration that will eventually pass.

So, given the strong business bonds, separation is not really likely.
