Women don’t belong in combat. Neither do men for that matter, but if it’s necessary, then it’s necessary for men.

Had a male, much less a mere white male, said such things about beautiful versus ugly women, the Femi-Nazi harridans, the dykes, ad nauseam, would be at full bray.
Let the circus begin!
It’s popcorn time.

The story is actually about the media’s salacious appetite for PC controversy.
The internal PR correspondence that discusses the best approach is a reasonable debate. That it was had between women furthers the appropriateness of the very business discussion. The media pressing that there are suggestive implications associated with having women (pretty or ugly) in advertising for a male dominated industry (military) is what is ludicrous.
Ice is cold.

According to a Nov. 23rd Politico report, "
2 out in Army pretty photo flap", Col. Lynette Arnhart has stepped aside from the Training and Doctrine Command study she was leading, and Col. Christian Kubik, a public affairs officer at TRADOC, has been suspended pending the results of an investigation "to protect the integrity of the ongoing work on gender integration in the Army."

Solution for the US Army female spokeswomen: Use feminist icons like Hillary(!) Clinton and Gloria Steinem to attract women into combat arms. These two icons should scare the bad guys out of their socks.

That archeress reminds me of portraits from Victorian times of young women engaged in archery.
Watching young `toxophilites’ drawing their bow back to full arch offered one of the few opportunities in those straitlaced times to admire the female bosom.

If Boenher and the whole GOP was so tone deaf, they would recruit this young lady to run after her stint is complete. She could speak to a younger generation, although the press would try to eviscerate her....
The sad news is she is probably "one of us" and John and Mitch wouldn't want anything to do with her....

As we see, the goal is to have at least 50% women in the military, aside from the obvious of creating a weak military, it does more than shows.
Men will quit enlisting to serve in what is just another female job, and before they just quit enlisting, as they largely already started doing years ago, the first step will be that the men who do show up, will be the less warrior types, who are indifferent to/perhaps even unaware of, the female/male differences.
