Warning All Churches [Homosexual infiltration]
Worldview Weekend ^ | October 27, 2013 | Ken Ham

Over this year, there have been a number of news reports on another movement in the church advocating for the acceptance of homosexual behavior and same-sex relationships. Matthew Vines, an openly homosexual 23-year-old student at Harvard University, posted a video on YouTube of a speech he gave on homosexuality and the Bible. In the talk, he claims repeatedly that God’s Word does not condemn monogamous same-sex relationships.

Now, a recent report from the Christian Post highlighted the amount of compromise happening within the church on this issue. The headline of the article explains, " 50 ‘Hand-Picked’ Christians Trained To Convince Churches To Re-Interpret Scripture’s Gay Boundaries.” Vines apparently hosted a training conference recently in his home state of Kansas for Christians who want to convince their churches to accept same-sex relationships.

Don't ever let a homoGestapo member get away with trying to tell you that activist homosexuals don't care what churches believe or do. This proves that they want conquest even over the freedom of religion.

They want all out persecution of Christians. They’re determined - otherwise they would just attend their little homosexual accepting “churches” and leave everyone else alone.

To the gentleman quoted in the article:

Uh, dude, the Bible condemns ALL sexual relationships outside of marriage. And what’s more, marriage has always been and is now between man and woman, no matter what your buddies in the judiciary say, and also no matter what popular opinion is.

God reigns. You don’t. *Sunglasses* Deal with it.

Jesus said the following things were wrong: divorce, adultery, lust, lying, stealing, gossiping, murdering, judging, envy, covetousness, etc. This requires many Christians to sit through some uncomfortable sermons if they attend a Bible believing church. So, homosexuals think they should get special treatment and not have their sin called out?

When my Pastor preaches a part of the Bible that demonstrates I fall short of God’s will, I say a prayer to God thanking Him for the grace He gives in Christ and ask for his help to turn from sin. The Bible tells us sin is our friend, it drives us to the cross of Christ. If I don’t sin, I don’t need a savior.

People who re-write the Bible to re-define sin, does the sinner no favor. The sin eliminated might be the one that drives that sinner to Christ. If I say what God calls sin is not sin, I prove that I hate God and the sinner. That is something I can never do. It would be better to commit the sin myself than to convince someone that that behavior is not a sin. God have mercy on us. Christ come soon.

So is homosexual sin our friend too? If it weren't for their sin, fewer homosexuals would be driven to Christ. Sounds like sin is something that we should be grateful for.

No wonder so many gays want to be involved in (Christian) churches. They need the Saviour's grace just as much as we do.

Sin is not your friend. Repentance is your friend, because of Jesus’ mercy. Mary did not sin. Sin is the result of love of self, rather than God. Mary loved God above all else. The devil’s friend is sin.

Mary is/was human an ALL have fallen short of the glory of God. Thus Mary did sin.

I don’t see how ANY reasonably intelligent person can read the 1st Chapter of Romans and conclude that practicing homosexuality is not roundly condemned in the Bible. That passage concludes that such people have rejected God and have been given over to their sin to suffer the consequences. Pretty clear to me.

Then by your reasoning, Jesus did too.

Wow, I do believe that this was also the dogma of Rasputin.

I have always found it interesting that homosexuals have been able to get away with posing their sexual behaviors are a function of who they are, yet their pathological hatred and aggressiveness toward those withholding approval of their demographic is not.

If it is reasonable to assert one can not contain ones sexual behaviors due to some innate physiological difference, why is it unreasonable to assert their are other, more destructive, behaviors that are similarly irresistible for the same reason that have only been held in check throughout the history of man by fear of societal retribution?

In our church anyone is welcome. We are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. But what we don’t do is ignore or change scripture to make people feel better about themselves. You will get the truth regardless of who you say you are and what you do in your spare time. We are about transforming lives, not watering down God. We also will not put people at risk for the sake of your presence. When we learned we had a pedophile in the congregation, that got nipped in the bad instantly.

There are very FEW monogamous same sex relationships. Even those who get ‘married’ are, by and large, not monogamous.

Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Christ is God incarnate — and clearly those passages in Romans are not speaking of Him. The “reasoning” which is faulty here is your own.

Falling into one category does not remove from another.

That you have to reach outside the Bible to justify your rationalization is indicative of the dirty little secret of all Protestantism, that it is just as bound to the traditions of man as it accuses Catholicism of being.

Guess you missed the fact that SCRIPTURE was what I quoted, not “tradition”. Nope, no Catholic revisionism present, thanks. Point out where I “reached outside of the Bible” when I quoted Scripture.... Reading comprehension issue, maybe?

Find “Incarnate” in the Scripture.

Protestantism’s other great sin beside hypocrisy, is presumption.

And Catholicism is a wicked heresy, but now that we have the name-calling out of the way, let’s tackle the verses in question, shall we? John 1:1 should help with that confusion re: Christ and God. Also Genesis 1 is quite clear. Scripture always refers to Scripture - like “iron sharpening iron”. It is not a buffet line to pick and choose what you wish it said. Something Catholics would do well to remember when handling it...
