A fuller accounting of D.C. Mayor Vincent C. Grays firing of the citys insurance commissioner came into view Monday as the mayors staff worked to head off any threat of a council probe of the firing.
Documents and interviews showed that criticism of William P. White was immediate and fierce inside Grays office late last week, when White issued a statement critical of President Obamas proposed fix to part of the botched rollout of the Affordable Care Act.
Tempers flared on Thursday and White was fired less than a day later despite a late-night apology in a voice mail left on Grays cellphone and a lengthy mea culpa via e-mail to the mayors senior staff.
According to a copy of that e-mail reviewed by The Washington Post, White wrote that he took full responsibility for his statement questioning the wisdom of Obamas plan. He also wrote that he would work to fix any problems or misconceptions that might result from my action.
Grays staff reached out to D.C. Council members on Saturday after The Post reported Whites firing. Despite the politically sensitive nature of Whites comments, council members were assured that Gray (D) had simply lost faith in Whites judgment and that his firing was the mayors prerogative....

Not regarding why the D.C. Insurance Commissioner was fired. Regarding that, all that mattered was that this man criticized the Liberal Messiah.
Obama is now firing those defending Obamacare. Quite interesting.

Mayor Grey always struck me as a not too bright follower, easy to manipulate or intimidate.

In the old days sea captains would hang those who didn’t toe the line from the yardarms of their ships to show others the results of their actions that displeased the Captain.
Today, the King of America uses fear and oppression to keep his subjects in line. This is a warning to others who just might say the wrong thing...that is the politically wrong thing...or worse yet THE TRUTH.
