Seminole deputies arrest George Zimmerman

George Zimmerman has been arrested and was en route to the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.

It's not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested today and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.

He said more information would be available shortly.

WESH-Channel 2 reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.

The Sheriff's Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka.

I’ve lost all sympathy for him.

Undoubtably, George is being targeted by officials of every level of the government.

That bears repeating.

My guess is the goes to jail on a trumped up domestic violence charge where a couple of gangbangers will beat him to death. Then Traythug’s parents will get on national TV and tell us all that God has a away of taking care of everything, then with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson by their side we will hear a few “amen praise God”. Then brother Jesse will say “it iz a tragdy when vilence perpetrate iz sidie, but God he hab wa of sortin’ out everthing. Now mabe diz natonal tragdi kin en”. Amen brotha

I supported him with the case, and the not guilty verdict was correct.

But, ultimately, he has had an odd number of run-ins with the law since then. I can’t believe some of you are thinking it’s some sort of weird conspiracy. Really?

No, it shows he has some issues he needs to work out himself. He needs to start a new life somewhere else and start fresh.

I predict a very bad ending for GZ and I'd bet the clothes on my back that he'll be at least partially responsible for it.

“I can’t believe some of you are thinking it’s some sort of weird conspiracy. Really?”

Seriously. This is the third woman to accuse him of domestic violence, and he had been in trouble with the law long before he ever encountered Trayvon Martin.

Maybe he’s just a hot-headed jackass.

Zimmerman is not guilty of murder. That’s the nicest thing I can say about him, the man appears to be an idiot and as I said a year ago, a thug.

New girlfriend, eh? So he left the wife?

It’s not that I think women in general are liars, it’s that the court system now acts like they cannot lie

Back around 2005, an hourly worker at my plant went thru a divorce and was granted custody of his young daughter over the wife.

The wife then conspired with the daughter's best girlfriend to have her call the police and claim Andy had molested her. Andy of course was arrested, thrown in jail and arraigned in court where the female judge then accused him of being a monster.

After posting bail, paying attorney's fees and suffering humiliation from the local news reports and ostracization from his neighbors, Andy was ultimately acquitted of the charges after it was revealed the girl lied.

But the harm had already been done since no one ever recovers from such public humiliation. Our plant closed down in December of 2006 and in the summer of 2007 Andy committed suicide........

I can’t believe all the FREEPERS who are enabling this guy.

I can't believe you are convicting this guy......

We're doing what everyone including the law enforcement community should be doing:... Supporting him and giving him the benefit of the doubt until he is proven guilty.......

Isn't that what America is all about?

I never heard that, what exactly were the circumstances? Or were they simply MSM embellished "stories"?

Sorry HT, but naps is right. Much like the Obamacare website you can only defend a lie for so long.

As conservatives and Americans we believe in the idea of due process and innocent until proven guilty. As Christians we believe in a second chance and repentance. We are all only human. Second chance maybe even a third chance.

Not fourth chances or fifth chances. This guy is not normal.

If any of us had beaten a bogus murder rap when it was clearly self-defense, We would have thanked God and divine providence and gone on a vacation to Peru and stayed out of trouble.

I am sure you know by now he had an ar15 and two handguns. His attorney said in court that Zimmerman had guns still at the location.

We are the “incarceration nation” for two reasons:

1. The insane War on Some Drugs.

2. A large population of people who think criminality is a legitimate career path. One major reason the crime rate has dropped is because we started locking up criminals for longer periods.

They were embellished stories. He was charged with resisting arrest because he saw his friend being harrassed (turned out to be an undercover officer making an arrest on underage alcohol) and tried to help him. It ended with a plea deal for no criminal conviction.

The other was a he said/she said domestic violence charge that went nowhere.

Since the Trayvon Martin case, a speeding ticket, another attempted DV charge from the wife at the beginning of a divorce, (practically standard fare these days) that was thrown out, now this, where it is beginning to appear there is no substance either.

The kind that’s shopping around her story to the highest bidder...it also wouldn’t surprise me if she’s a Democrat operative.
