Women can be excellent shooters with the right training. I remember a few that graduated in my class that scored in the high ‘80’s and low 90’s. The guys that made it to SWAT were required to shoot mid to high 90’s.

As a firearms instructor, I find that women tend to be naturally better shooters than men, and with minimal training can out shoot most men. Can’t tell if it’s nature or nurture. Male shooters require a lot of “unlearning” since they seemed to have learned gun handling solely from watching TV and movies :-)
And I would say the the guys were equal. I knew some guys who could shoot also. Shooting is hand eye coordination so gals did just fine at that, or as well as the guys. But since we are no longer an agricultural country most don’t have a lot of experience handling firearms.
Then place them in positions as E-3 female sharpshooters who can’t hump their ammo.
Big difference between shooting well at a range and aiming at a living person and killing him. We have always had a lot of trouble getting young men to aim their weapons effectively in combat. It will be much worse with young women. Mixing men and women in combat units will reduce our already precarious effectiveness.
