Ungghhh... I hate the superbowl commercials as of late.
I still don’t understand why Obama doesn’t put in a temp system with a half million clerks with telephone banks and paper.
The census hired 635,000.
Think of how it would bump his employment stats.
Good point.
No, it is an ACTUAL radio ad from the National Wildlife Federation...the story behind it can be found at the link at post #62...
You make a good point... Super Bowl commercials sure haven’t been as good as they used to be. In the past few years most of ‘em have been passable, at best.
It sounds like you live in NH... Is it true (per the website you referenced) that "thousands of moose have been disappearing in New Hampshire"? I don't believe it.
"Several" moose (I can't give you an exact number) have been showing up here in Connecticut. Moose are kind of rare here... Maybe the NH moose wandered on down to CT?
I have not heard ONE commentator or talking head point out that Obama just made another promise he knows he can’t keep,

“Oh the shame of it all as one day after the Obama administration announced that only 26,794 people had enrolled in ObamaCare, in a calculatingly and vicious move against the American people a move done solely to try and salvage the 2014 elections for the Democrats
Barack HUSSEIN Obama, looking defeated and dejected, did what he does best as he again LIED and deceived the American people at yesterdays press conference. “

Just to correct the record in my previous post. This website is not exactly prime-time, but it is the first time I have seen this point made re: Obama’s presser yesterday:
“did what he does best as he again LIED and deceived the American people at yesterdays press conference. “
Yes, I live in Red Hampshire...a cruel fate I wouldn’t wish on a dog. Is it true? I have no idea, as I do not pay attention to the local media.
Hi Ern; just came back in from a walk.
Homemade PA Dutch Chicken Corn Soup, made by my sister, right at the opportune time. OJ, aspirin, LOTS of water and rest, too.
Thanks for being here. Just got back from a walk with the neighbor and her dogs.
"Red" Hampshire... I assume you mean red as in commie red, not "Red State" red.
Honestly, New Hampshire to me looks (almost) like a "Red State" state to me, compared to the full-on commie red People's Republik of Connecticut that I'm stuck in...
CT is far, far to the left of NH. Unfortunately for me!
Dual meaning...red for communism, red for the blood of unborn children.

lol; perfect! I didn’t think it was canned chicken soup, nor did I think you were up to making a batch of homemade soup. I was assuming you might have thawed some homemade.
For you to recover that quickly, your immune system is doing better than you thought.
I got a flu shot yesterday at local drug store...Protective (insofar as they can guess) in 2-3 weeks.
I talked to two pharmacies - Rite Aid and CVS - today, and they said the vaccines are a crapshoot, in that they have no idea of what flu virus will predominate in any season, but something’s better than nothing.
Separate from Upton’s bill [post 81], the House voted on a different “you can keep it” bill offered by the Dems.
Watered-down Democratic ‘keep your health plan’ bill defeated in House
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3091838/posts
it was defeated along party lines, 230-187. Four Democrats voted against, while no Republicans voted in favor.
Yep, that's why I said "Protective (insofar as they can guess) in 2-3 weeks."
For several reasons, I think as you said, "but somethings better than nothing." I usually get a flu shot in Sept, but I was late this year. Your illness reminded me to procrastinate no longer.
