Looks like echoes of 2010 in the wind. Obamacare is going to kill Democrats in 2014 provided the GOP doesn't do anything stupid. A few weeks ago a Gallup poll showed that the sentiments towards smaller government are at an all time high and higher than in 2010. The GOP just has did a piss poor job taking advantage of them.

This crap about how badly the Republican have been hurt by the shutdown is just...well, crap - it doesn’t account for the fact that many of those complaining about the ‘pubs are themselves ‘pubs - Tea Partiers who don’t like Rinos, and Rinos who can’t stand Tea Partiers - come the election, there may be some dropoff on both sides but a lot of those unhappy that things aren’t closer to optimum will still go vote for the GOP ticket - any given Republican is better than any ‘rat any old day......
