Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifies on the hill, Wednesday, concerning healthcare.gov’s problems since its October 1 rollout. She’ll answer questions before the House Energy & Commerce Committee.
This is the committee’s second hearing related to the website problems. Last week, four government contractors hired to help build the site testified. Tuesday, Marilyn Tavener, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator, appeared before the Ways & Means Committee.
CMS is responsible for setting up the federal marketplace for insurance exchanges and the Medicaid expansion. Rep. Fred Upton chairs the committee and Rep. Henry Waxman serves as Ranking Member.
These hearing are all sound and fury signifying what - I can't remember a satisfactory result coming from one of them.
Yes good job and until the end did not let her talk over him. He goes on: will you Madame Secretary issue hardship exemptions to those who had their policies cancelled because they did not meet the requirements of Obamacare?
NO she says! And goes on to say that it is only 5% or (I think she said) 16 Million.
Go tell that to those 16 million people. They do not matter, Sebelius does not care — it is “only” 5% and she will not grant them the hardship exemption — for which there is as yet no procedure.
The Democrat meme is that the GOP is trying to undermine the law, and this is causing ALL the problems we are seeing.
There’s no accountability from the administration, none whatsoever. Every single problem is the country, in fact, is due to Republicans and evil conservatives.
If Obamacare was VOLUNTARY, would anyone try to sign up for Obamacare?

Sebelius says part time workers will have more options now that their full time colleagues have always had.
Completely missing the point that Obamacare is forcing full time workers to part time. SHEESH
