Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifies on the hill, Wednesday, concerning healthcare.gov’s problems since its October 1 rollout. She’ll answer questions before the House Energy & Commerce Committee.
This is the committee’s second hearing related to the website problems. Last week, four government contractors hired to help build the site testified. Tuesday, Marilyn Tavener, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator, appeared before the Ways & Means Committee.
CMS is responsible for setting up the federal marketplace for insurance exchanges and the Medicaid expansion. Rep. Fred Upton chairs the committee and Rep. Henry Waxman serves as Ranking Member.

Yes - and nobody is asking those kinds of questions. It’s only “is the website secure?” It’s like they only care about buying a book of the Amazon site or something.

Excellent point. There was NO JUSTIFIABLE REASON to award a sole source contract. Bore in on this topic! There are a lot of irregularities in this to explore and it will shed a lot of light on how the program is being mismanaged.

8:10 PM Obama arrives at Joint Base Andrews.
8:45 PM Obama arrives at the White House.
They need to get some insurance execs in there to put an end to this ridiculous spin that they cancel policies and issue new ones every year.
I’m sure that happens, but when it does, they are offering comparable replacement plans, not forcing them onto ones that cover things they don’t want or need. Now they can’t do that.

Did President Obama LIE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE when he ‘guaranteed’ that everyone could keep their insurance if they wanted, ‘Period.’?
Do you believe in socialized medicine? If not, explain what it is about socialized medicine that you do not believe in?
Did you, personally, believe that no one’s policy would get canceled. and that everyone’s rates would go down?
