BTW Hannity just announced that Moochells college classmate received the no-bid contract, CGI, to develop and create Obamacare.

Well, Robby - you know why they DIDN’T propose a single payer system, don’t you?
Because leftwing socialists can only succeed when they hide their agenda from the people.

Not a new lie, this one has been around since 2010 and a lib here repeats it to me every so often.
Supposedly someone in Heritage foundation suggested some sort of personal mandate decades ago.
It sounds possible.

I recall with certainty that both Knewt Gingrich as well as the Heritage Foundation were proposing something almost identical, including mandated coverage back when Knewt was speaker!!!

Yep.
It’s official, the demand for single payer is starting up.
There have been several news articles and op-eds in the past week saying we should do single payer now.

So now the Democrats catered to Republican demands regarding Obamacare?
The Democrats didn’t care what the Republicans thought about their health care law. If they wanted too, they could have passed a single payer health care bill when they had both houses of congress. So, why didn’t they?
Boo hoo, the Republicans made us do it.

Robert Reich : “
While Republicans plot new ways to sabotage the Affordable Care Act, it's easy to forget that for years they've been arguing that any comprehensive health insurance system be designed exactly like the one that officially began October 1st, glitches and all,” said Robert Reich, who served as President Bill Clinton's Labor Secretary.
Reich says Democrats should have insisted on a single-payer system because it would have been “cheaper, simpler, and more popular.”
In a blog at The Huffington Post website, Reich wrote that Republicans have long argued for a health care system based on private insurance and paid for with subsidies and a requirement that the young and healthy people sign up. Democrats, he says, wanted to model health care reform on Social Security and Medicare, and fund it through the payroll tax.
Reich says President Richard Nixon in 1974, “proposed, in essence, today's Affordable Care Act.” Thirty years later, then-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, another Republican, “made Nixon's plan the law in Massachusetts.” So when Obamacare fails that just means the GOP has bad ideas.
So time to try the liberals idea single payer.
‘We tried your GOP ideas and they failed. Now give ours a chance’

There are lots and lots of stupid Republicans who have even more stupid ideas!
Lemme see now, “Romneycare” Romney; “End of the Day” Corker, “To Hell with my voters” Cornyn; “Fool’s Errand” McCain, “Make sure that it never happens again” Graham, “Read my lips, No New TAXES!” Bush, “Deficits don’t matter” Reagan, “No child left behind” Bush, “I am not a crook” Nixon, etc, etc.
The important observation is what is the sum of all of a Federal Politician’s ideas?
How rapidly were the stupid ideas rejected by that politician?
Did the good outweigh the harm done by the politician?
A stupid person is one who is incapable of learning. Few Republican Politicians fit that definition.
An ignorant person is one that does not know, a trait common to all who begin the task of learning.
An intelligent person is one who has the ability to learn quickly, something that President Reagan demonstrated frequently, except for his failure to learn about Defecits.
Yup, the Nationalization, single payor “solution” to controlling medical cost was an idea common to Socialists in England, Communists in Russia, and bird-brains at the Heritage Foundation.
England is still stupid, Russia went under, and the Heritage Foundation had to eat crow.
Lesson learned: A Free and Open Medical Market will always outperform anything any Government will ever come up with.
Only the stupid still believe in Nationalized, Socialized or Government Medical. or Medical Insurance Control, as if they haven’t learned it from the abject failure of Obama’Care’ they never will.
BTW, “You can’t fix stupid. Stupid is FOREVER.” (Ron White).

I...see... Those dastardly Republicans who have been fighting 0bamacare tooth and nail are now responsible for it? I do believe we've passed an important threshold here. This is a lie too big not only for the American lumpenproletariat to swallow, but too big for the lickspittle media to report with a straight face. That places it in a philosophical category all its own. Schoolchildren decades from now will gape in wonder at it like a second moon in the sky or a rain of reticulated pythons. They give prizes for this sort of stuff.
