WASHINGTON Congressional Republicans conceded defeat on Wednesday in their bitter budget fight with President Obama over the new health care law as the House and Senate approved last-minute legislation ending a disruptive 16-day government shutdown and extending federal borrowing power to avert a financial default with potentially worldwide economic repercussions.
With the Treasury Department warning that it could run out of money to pay national obligations within a day, the Senate voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday evening, 81 to 18, to approve a proposal hammered out by the chambers Republican and Democratic leaders after the House on Tuesday was unable to move forward with any resolution. The House followed suit a few hours later, voting 285 to 144 to approve the Senate plan, which would fund the government through Jan. 15 and raise the debt limit through Feb. 7.

No. Take a look at the thread. There is a problem with it but nothing like that.
lol....rimshot.
Glad you enjoyed it, I’ll enjoy watching you choke on your hero’s big...CommieCare..., even as the rest of us choke on it too. Misery loves company-you should understand that fully, being a redistributionist commie troll.
And Moscow.
bye
I agree about the term limits.
100 republicans in House should threaten to form a new party and give control of the House to the Dems if the Debt Ceiling is not REDUCED BY 1 PERCENT IN FEB 2014.
I will completely AGREE with your statement and post. We're definitely now moving more swiftly in that direction.
The next trying moment will be having to listen to many of the dim-bulbs saying things like.. "WTF.. how did this happen, etc. etc."

About the ONLY way stupid people wakeup and wiseup is AFTER they get their own a$$ burned REAL GOOD.

“People have bought into the Karl Marx philosophy..people want whatever they can get their hands on for Free. You see the people storming Walmart when the EBT cards were not working, they took whatever they could get into their carts and ran out the door..these kind of people dont want jobs, they want freebies, they want to steal..probably laughed their way back home after getting all that loot..those are the kinds of people that vote Democrat”
I don’t expect people to be ‘conservative’ when given access to other people’s wallet. Few people are above human nature and human nature dictates you take as much of a wanted resources as you can while its cheap(in this case free to them).
That however does not make them Marxist, merely opportunist as any conservative should expect them to be. The fought lay not just with them and their unethical exploitation, but the one who gave them our credit card.
In closing, when I registered to vote, I registered as a Democrat. We parted company over abortion, gun control, the homosexual agenda, and when I realized that the Democrat Party was an arm for International socialism. I will just keep what principles I have left after voting for John Mc Cain and Mitt Romney.
Good luck fighting a fight after command has destroyed their own army.
You can’t say “we’ll win the next fight” when you let the enemy pull a maneuver that just castrated your grassroots support. Nobody will “die” for a cause that leadership will not fight for.
Enjoy the demise of this great country you helped destroy. And when it all falls apart...do drop in an say howdy...and mea culpa.
I’m quite upset and disgusted to learn that my PA congressman, Mike Kelly, voted YEA in the GOP’s complete and total surrender to Obama and the Democrats. This is the same Mike Kelly who not long ago received standing ovations on the House floor after delivering rousing speeches against excessive federal government regulations and IRS tyranny. Well, evidently he’s not the conservative I thought he was... Matter of fact, he receives a highly unimpressive 59% rating from Heritage Action for his conservative voting record.
Well... Looks like I just may be voting for Kelly’s primary opponent next November. And I’m going to send him an e-mail to let him know it.
I am speaking for myself and others. There are many of us out here -
Constitutional Conservative, regular working folks, who arent deeply linked into the big political money and fight for every inch of traction we can get - challenging entrenched establishment incumbents with big fat warchests full of GOP money. We need your help. *I* need your help.
Imagine trying to raise $500,000 for a campaign in $20-$100 private individual donations. Oh, there are always a few larger donations, but without a posse of BIG donors, well . . .
Republican PACs wont give us money. Industry PACs wont give us money because we are for the Constitution, NOT crony capitalism. PACs and big donors want to know what they get for their money, meaning pork or other special preferences, and they DONT want to hear about Constitutional principles of strictly limited government that doesnt pick business/industry winners and losers.
Either like-minded folks step up with lots of support, or we have NO chance getting elected and being that next Ted Cruz. We are out here - and we need YALL!!!

Does anyone know if Turtle McConnell stuck into the bill the effect of letting the WH Clown raise the debt ceiling anytime he wants and then Congress has the ability to STOP it but clown can veto that?
Boehner needs a credible primary opponent.
