RUSH: I want to go back to the lady on the phone who says this doesn’t feel right. What’s happening here to the country just doesn’t feel right. You know what’s happened here? You know what this feels like, folks? I’ll tell you exactly what it feels like to me. You tell me if this isn’t close. It feels like we’ve lost a war to a communist country. It’s almost like there’s been a coup. There’s been a peaceful coup. The media has led this coup, and the Democrats have taken over with popular support. DON’T bet on it. This native Texan is fully enraged and I realize that I am merely a few generations behind my brave and courageous ancestors who stood against ALL odds and died for freedom. There are millions just like me. That spirit to stand and fight is only dormant and just needs a little spark to ignite.

Yeah, and the "love of money" is the "root" of evil. There will be a few who go Galt, four years for me now, but not enough to make a difference. Sorry, but like a drunk or addict, the country will hit rock bottom before there is incentive enough to straighten itself out, if we survive without a breakup. And a breakup is a very strong possibility.
Just being realistic about our options and future here.

Just this morning, I said that I wished we would secede. I understand Greg Abbot (running for Texas Governor) has a back up plan for seceding, just in case. That is enough to make me vote for him!

We gave our country up without a fight. Democracy in this country is finished, thanks to eternity serving political hacks, voters who vote their pocketbook (gimme gimme). We’ve allowed ourselves to be brainwashed by our answer to Pravda, the MSM. RIP USA!

Yes. So is Castro. So are the leaders of Vietnam and China. Man is a pretty easy creature to understand. He wants. Look at every successful communist leader throughout history. They are people who wanted wealth and power, but felt that they couldn’t get wealth and power under their current political system (or at least not as fast as they wanted it). There has never been a communist/socialist state where an elite didn’t develop to enrich themselves. That’s painfully obvious. The only people stupid enough to believe that communists truly want communism are college professors and students. Communism is just a front for stealing.

That only works as long as the US dollar is the reserve currency. I predict that might not be the case for much longer.
Countries are looking at this administration and our govt in general with much skepticism. Many do not believe that we are stable or can be trusted economically in the future.
Fear and distrust are powerful economic emotions.

The GOP needs a rebirth - out with the RINO establishment Republicans and in with constitutional small government tea party conservatives.
