Yeah, and the "love of money" is the "root" of evil. There will be a few who go Galt, four years for me now, but not enough to make a difference. Sorry, but like a drunk or addict, the country will hit rock bottom before there is incentive enough to straighten itself out, if we survive without a breakup. And a breakup is a very strong possibility.
Just being realistic about our options and future here.
